The latest news I read from Romfea (the most trustworthy Greek source of Church News) is that the bishops' kidnappers have been surrounded by Kurdish fighters.
Romfea
This is the report from the Kurdish source:

"West Kurdistan People's Defense Units (YPG) released a written statement on the kidnapping of Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Aleppo, Boulos Yazigi, and the Syriac Orthodox Bishop, Yohanna Ibrahim, in Syria on 22 April.
The statement by YPG General Command said that two bishops were kidnapped by an armed group led by Feteh El-Hesun and affiliated to Free Syrian Army. YPG said they have reached this conclusion as a result of the research of YPG units.
YPD evaluated the kidnapping as an inhuman act against Syrian revolution and called on the FSA and the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces to urgently release the bishops. YPG also called on the Coalition to apologize the Christian world for the incident.
YPG warned that they will go into action to save the bishops in the event that they are not released soon."

Interesting item I've picked up elsewhere.

Pity about the inaccuracy as regards the Liturgy but I'm glad of the publicity

Rome, Italy, May 11, 2013 / 11:39 am (CNA/EWTN News).- Eastern Catholic clergy celebrated a Mass in Rome’s Basilica of Santa Maria in Cosmedin to pray for two archbishops and two priests who remain the hostages of rebels in Syria.

Archimandrite Mtanious Haddad, rector of the Greek Melkite Catholic Basilica, said there are “so many” people who have been kidnapped.

“Our Mass today was to pray for all those Christians and moderate Muslims who have been kidnapped,” he told CNA / EWTN News............
