Ummm..... I guess I won't vote. I don't know much of Clapton's stuff, and I've never heard of Dickinson

clapton. my friend got to see him last week. i've seen one of his concerts on tv and it just blew me away. it was great. as for Dickinson, i haven't heard too much of his stuff, but i wasn't particularly impressed, or at least, not compared to clapton

I recently heard a live performance of "Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits with Eric Clapton taking over for Mark Knopfler on lead guitar. Man, Clapton's solo is unbelievable on that! Not that Knopfler's isnt amazing, but it was cool to hear the solo through a different guitarist's style.

I've seen the clip...one of the most amazing performances I've ever seen.

I dont think I've heard of the musician Bruce Dickinson, but wasn't "Bruce Dickinson" the name of the character Christopher Walken played on the SNL "Cowbell" skit?? Where Blue Oyster Cult goes into the studio to lay down the track for Dont Fear the Reaper with famed producer Bruce Dickinson, who's just "gotta have more cowbell!"

I got a fever! And the only prescription is more cowbell!!

I think this is the funniest SNL skit of all time.

I wouldn't say all time, personally, but definitely one of the funniest recent ones. I think you're right, it was Bruce Dickinson.

It definitely was Dickinson. One of my favorite lines from that is, "Never question Bruce Dickinson!" Haha...Fantastic skit.
