Their training allowed them to keep one of those injured by the lightning alive, pretty cool. Has been a bad time for them lately though.

They used cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It's nothing special, many people outside the boy scouts can do that!

True, but not enough, and not as many young people. I was very glad to have a session on CPR training in 8th grade and was certified through the class (it was right after our comprehensive sex ed).

My heart goes out for the families of the men that were taken. My husband was very involved in scouting with are son they went to the Naitonal Boy Scounts Jamboree in VA. Boy Scouts of America is a good way for boys to gain good moral and values in life. My son reached the highest rank EAGLES. We are a scouting family. My heart is so sad for everyone involved there this week.
