Why are there so many admins and what do they do? (as I don't think they do the same thing) but who knows.

Why are there so many admins and what do they do? (as I don't think they do the same thing) but who knows.
Right now there are 5 -- 1 is on a temporary assignment as an admin.
I know they all have different areas of responsibility (different forum categories and such). CF is pretty big
