Which authors are the most informative and instructive in the apologetic genre of Christian books?
Obviously C.S. Lewis is one of the greatest with his books "Mere Christianity" and "Problem of Pain", among others. I also enjoyed reading Ravi Zacharias (Jesus Among Other Gods) and William Dembski (The End of Christianity).
