I think its a little early to panic, as the article said, the levels are negligible and WELL below any effective dose. Most of the medicines they mention are no bio-accumulates
At least someone can be calm about it.I freaking out at the thought of this.I hope the water issues isn't the reason I've been getting headace and tried all the time. And it's knot like you can stop dring water.

I'd love to know the actual measurements that they found.
are we talking 1 part per million, 1 part per billion or what ?
I mean if we're finding 10mg in an 8 ounce glass of water, that's a problem
but if we're finding 0.001mg in 1000 gallons of water, I don't think thats much to worry about.

This is not surprising to me. After all, many people dump their drugs down the toilet after they don't use them. I have done this myself a number of times but I should stop. In fact, I will stop from this day forward.

Just another case of the media overreacting to draw in viewer attention. To get the amount of medicine in one regular aspirin, you have to drink like 100 million to 100 billion glasses of water. (CNN) Even if the chemicals in two drugs reacted and combined, the concentration is still far to low to do any real harm.

At least worry about something worthwhile, like a car accident or accidental overdoses on the REAL medication.

Most pharmaceuticals can be removed through reverse osmosis. You can get a home filter for that if you're really worried!
Better yet, buy O2 & H & make your own water :D

Though If I'm right 100.00% Pure Water isn't too healthy. IIRC
