starting with v.7 we have unclean spirits coming out. It is a spirit that is immorally impure. Many variations including the he she thing, but not open in those days but secret. I think they are still around and are ignored. There was joy in the city because they were for sure Godly wonders.
v.9 starts another point. Simon a man of sorcery and witchcraft boasted himself as some great one. People everywhere came to see this man. v.12 when Phillip preached the kingdom, people started following him. v.13 Simon was convinced of the signs and wonders. ( his baptism was in the water.) v.16 Holy Spirit baptism not fall yet. v.18-19 see how Simon wanted buy this power. ( So he could use it to win people over to himself being he is becoming unpopular.)
v. 20 Peter reveals God's gift cannot be purchased with (foul) money. v.23 ---gall is poison bitter grapes, Jesus refused that on the cross and then said it is finished. bond of iniquity a bond is like handcuffs. v.24 if his repentence is truly sincere there is hope. He must get unclean spirit out of him also.
v.26 Philip is led of the Spirit by means of the angel. The rest is about one great man who is a Eunuch . His very important and to notice , He is looking to the word of God. v.27 we see a man who is trusted with great wealth. ***** I see a great contrast between him and Simon ***** v.7 Yes God has a son. Same chap. we have the Holy Spirit. The Great three in One . History reveals he went back to Ethiopia and there was revival. Sooooo God works through pure holy vessels to proclaim his kingdom.
