It really is telling that conservatives can't seem to honestly critique Secretary Clinton's actual policy positions, but must construct these ridiculously over-the-top strawmen, or else wail "necromancy!!!!"

NEO cons. I like to think us real conservatives are better than that. But after 8 years of Obama being criticised for death panels, being a Muslim, being Kenyan, being a narcissist, being the love child of Malcolm X and George Soros, being an atheist, hating America and trying to invade Texas. .. I'd have thought you'd be used to it by now. Real issue and policy discussion requires nuance, understanding and a modicum of empathy and education, so that's beyond most of the Usual Suspect types. Instead you get this "Hillary's a necromancer!" rubbish..

I mean, what do you expect them to do? Read, like, most of a news article or something?

That's where we're headed if Hillary wins and appoints 4 new Justices for the Supreme Court, with a bunch of lackadaisical Republicans siding with the Supreme Leader.

I'm OK with that. Assuming that she gets the nomination, I'll be voting for Hillary.

A vote to continue the status quo. She will run as a liberal in the primaries, pivot to the right after the nominaton, and then govern as a moderate like Bill Clinton and Obama.

She cares about winning at all costs and many of the positions she takes will be based on convenience rather than conviction.

Note that when I say moderate I'm talking about the sell out insider variant of moderate too. The kind that knows they owe a lot to the liberal base so they do a few good liberal deeds to keep up a modicum of appearance and then sell out to the corporations on a variety other occasions (violent neocon foreign policy [Iraq war, drones, etc..], "free trade", patriot act, etc...)

I'm not a fan of Hillary but there is a whole lot of fear mongering in the OP:

The failure of Christians to vote elected Obama --- twice.

You don't think any Christians voted for Obama?
He's done a pretty decent job in my opinion.

Think about it. A vote for Hillary Clinton is an endorsement of:

Abortion at any stage in the pregnancy, including taking the life of the child at birth or shortly thereafter.

Cite your source on this. Here is an "On the issues" section of abortion. I briefly scanned it so if I missed the part where it confirms your claim, please point it out otherwise you're bearing false witness. http://www.ontheissues.org/2016/Hillary_Clinton_Abortion.htm

Forcing Christian groups to accept abortion, birth control, and same-sex marriages, same-sex adoptions, same-sex restrooms.

Where do you get the idea that you are forced to do any of these things. This is classic persecution complex. Don't accept abortion? Then don't get one. Don't like birth control? Don't use it. Don't like same-sex marriages? Don't marry someone of the same sex, etc, etc, etc.

I personally am not a huge fan of guns but I recognize your right to own one. This is like me saying "They're forcing me to like guns!!!!!!!" It's absurd.

Endorsement of all religion.

Yes, there is this little thing called freedom of religion in this country. You seem to define this as "freedom of religion as long as it's just my religion" Sorry, you're not that special. This is a secular nation that allows you to believe whatever you want.

Erasing the 2nd Amendment.

I'll be sure to keep buying stock in gun companies if a democrat is president again. It's awesome to see the stock rise when delusional "THEY'RE GONNA TAKE OUR GUNS" rhetoric starts flying around. Thank$

Please cite a source where Hillary says she wants to abolish the 2nd amendment or once again, you're bearing false witness.

Confiscating privately owned guns and ammunition. Martial law.

You're an Alex Jones fan aren't you? He's been saying Obama will initiate martial law at some point for 7 years now. When is it gonna happen? The suspense is killing me.

Continuing the agreement with Iran.

So getting Iran to reduce their centrifuges, uranium stockpiles and a shutdown of plutonium reactors is a bad thing?

Continuing the exceptionally limited response to ISIS and similar groups around the world.

You're more likely to die in a car accident on your way to work than be killed by a terrorists. What are you so afraid of? Sounds like you're susceptible to fear mongering.

Federal control of medical care.

A single payer healthcare system is much cheaper.

Rule by executive order.

Every president there ever was has issued executive orders except for Harrison who was only in office for 32 days. Obama has issued 226. Bush issued 291, Clinton 364, Reagan 381 and FDR with 3522

Communicating with Eleanor Roosevelt.

She's been dead for 54 years.

Just think about it..........She would have the opportunity to appoint three Supreme Court Justices, perhaps four, in her FIRST term!!

So would anyone that wins the presidency.
I'm not a fan of Hillary but I am also not a fan of blatant fear mongering and spouting nonsense.

Well, I'm still of the opinion that McCain was the better candidate first time, but second time, however grudgingly, I have to say Obama over Romney. Assuming a two party option, and assuming McCain would survive the full term, of course.

Quite a few were unwilling to take the risk that McCain would survive. The risk associated with his running mate was just too high. That and that choice raised issues regarding his judgment.

Disastrous.

The failure of Christians to vote elected Obama --- twice.
The number of Christians voting without considering the consequences --- millions.

Think about it. A vote for Hillary Clinton is an endorsement of:

Abortion at any stage in the pregnancy, including taking the life of the child at birth or shortly thereafter. Forcing Christian groups to accept abortion, birth control, and same-sex marriages, same-sex adoptions, same-sex restrooms.

Islam as a "great" religion. Endorsement of all religion. Preventing pastors and our military from speaking out from a Christian perspective.

Erasing the 2nd Amendment.
Confiscating privately owned guns and ammunition.
Martial law.
Illegal immigration.
Free medical, social security, welfare benefits, drivers' licenses for non-citizens.
An open door on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Welfare for 46% of the U.S. population, at 54% of taxpayers expense.

Shipping our manufacturing companies overseas, then buying from them to pay the wages of foreign employees, while avoiding U.S. taxes.

Borrowing $$$$ from China et al while not paying the interest on the 20 trillion dollar debt.

Continuing the agreement with Iran.
Continuing the exceptionally limited response to ISIS and similar groups around the world.
Downsizing the entire U.S. military.
Upsizing the Washington, D.C. bureaucracy. Adding to the three million federal employees while upsizing their salaries plus expenses.
Federal control of all education.
Federal control of all law enforcement, from small towns to states.
Federal control of medical care.
Rule by executive order.
Charge enemy combatants with "workplace incidents" and "criminal acts of violence" in U.S. courtrooms rather than military tribunals.

Communicating with Eleanor Roosevelt.

Just think about it..........She would have the opportunity to appoint three Supreme Court Justices, perhaps four, in her FIRST term!!

Got anything exposing Hillary to add? Add it, then pass it on!

Pro-Hillary? Create your own file. Leave this one alone.

uhmmm...about the bolded portion? You don't seem real clear on how a discussion board works huh? Here's a hint: if you only want things that say what you want them to say, post it in a blog. If however you post in a discussion forum? Expect people to discuss things.

Same here. A few regrets, though. He hasn't been a great president, but he's been an OK president.

Christians failed to vote, and Christians voted without considering the consequences.

Don't let it happen again.
I sure won't. I will consider social justice, compassion, the environment and working for peace instead of voting for Wall Street puppets who try to dupe evangelicals by giving lip service to sin ssanctions.

It's why I voted for Obama the first time. I though with Senator Obama being the first black man to potentially be elected he probably wouldn't survive his first term, and I expected a heart attack out of McCain. Thus I went over if I wanted President Palin or President Biden.

Folks, Biden and McCain are history. We're talking about what is going to happen in November 2016.

Misplaced language like "blatant fear mongering," and supporting Hillary plus as many as 4 Supreme Court Justices who agree with her, is not compatible with those who present themselves as members of the Body of Christ. That is the issue. How will your vote be compatible with your faith, presented to you by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of living a holy life, not to mention eternal security, God's amazing gift to all who name the Name of Jesus.

That is not now, nor has it ever been, for the likes of you to decide. And you are getting dangerously close to getting yourself banned from the board.

My votes always have been, both my past votes for Obama and my future votes for (presumably) Hillary.

Disastrous.

It's always the same final apocalyptic conflict between good and evil and we're always on the precipice of disaster. We've been through dozens of worst things that could ever happen, but something even worse just kept on coming, and yet here we are, kiddies, still surviving, and we're still wondering when you guys are ever going to get tired of your own hysteria.

I totally agree with you, which is why I will vote third party if she gets the nomination. Let's hope Bernie wins enough primaries to make it clear that if Hillary gets the nomination that they just may split the party and many won't be the good little girls and boys and vote for Hillary because they tell us to.

What did conservative Supreme Court justices do over the past few years? Besides selling out every branch of our government to the richest advertisers with the Citizens United decision?

We know who's buying elections. The Koch Brothers, who run ads about all the people they hire while they poison the water supplies in the towns their workers reside in--all the while buying legislators who'll appoint judges who'll let them poison the rest of us.

Or Sheldon Adelson, gambling magnate.

Do you think those three giving a flying flip about abortion or gay marriage? They'll say what they perceive will bring voters to their bought-and-paid-for candidates, but that doesn't mean they're making it a priority.

Do you think that Adelson is worrying about gay marriage in his Las Vegas and Macao casinos? He probably has wedding chapels in the lobbies where they're marrying gay couples every ten minutes.

You've already allowed the current Supreme Court to sell our government to the highest bidder. With Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, Alito, and Kennedy you've got what they paid for.

Don't hold your breath thinking they're putting your priorities on the front burner.
