3 years ago I noticed that children were playing by the ditch, sticking sticks in it, I thought they were doing nothing wrong, and yet something made me curious. At first I thought they were tormenting the poor rat (and I would have paid attention to that too) however, he was too small for a rat, quick action and reaction and such a small beast I took out. Of course, I also expressed my words to the parents in an appropriate way, that cool, let them play. Today this lovely little girl, is the only female in our herd 
we have 2 more boys and she deals the cards PS. I always have a fondness for this photo, it is right after a visit to the vet, when the lady asks what next to what and what I "take" and so all day long she slept cuddled up to me
