Hello!

I am new to this forum (although apparently made this account months ago). Currently a Southern Baptist, albeit in a state of discernment as many if not most of my beliefs align with the Roman Catholic Church; however, I am unable to go to a Catholic church under my current circumstances. In fact as a result of this, I no longer use NIV or KJV, and instead I now primarily use a vernacular translation of the Septuagint for Old Testament reading in addition to using the Douay-Rheims and NABRE translations for reading the New Testament. In general, I am interested in learning more theology on these forums and having other discussions with fellow Christians.

Hello! I would like my username changed, but when I tried to create an account before recovering this one, it said it's permanent.

Unless I am mistaken, since I would prefer a Romanized name (no clue why I went wit this one, but Romanized it's Dangun Wanggeom).

Hello and welcome to CF. Hopefully you can get the name thing sorted out. It used to be that it could be "bought" with credits that are received from posting. If you need credits for it, let me know and I'll gift them to you.

You might be especially interested in the Catholic forum, and in Traditional Theology (which includes all of us who maintain the authority of Holy Tradition). Take whatever time you need in discerning. I'm sure there are many helpful folks here if you want to discuss it.
