Don’t Put Words In My Mouth, Unless You Are God!
Isaiah 51:16
And I have put My words in your mouth;
I have covered you with the shadow of My hand,
That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth,
And say to Zion, You are My people.

The Lord sows His Word in the heart of His people to establish the heavens.
This Mount Zion, where righteousness dwells.

Exodus 15:17 You will bring them in and plant them in the mountain of Your
inheritance, the place, O Lord, which You have made for Your own dwelling,
The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.

The Promised Land: Metaphor for God’s Elect
Isaiah 60:21 Also your people shall all be righteous; they shall inherit the land forever,
The branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.

The Planting Of The Lord, Trees Of Righteousness
Isaiah 61:3 To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord,
that He may be glorified.

Ezekiel 34:29 I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall no longer
be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore.

“Not By Works Of Righteousness That We Have Done” Titus 3:5
Deuteronomy 6:
10
And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which
He swore unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and
goodly cities, which you built not,
11
And houses full of all good things, which thou filled not, and wells dug, which
thou dug not
, vineyards and olive trees, which thou planted not; when thou shalt
have eaten and be full;
12 Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land
of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Joshua 24:13 I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which
you did not build, and you dwell in them; you eat of the vineyards and olive groves
which you did not plant.

The Lord Prepares A Place For Us John 14:3
1 Chronicles 17:9
Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel,
and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more;
nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously.

"The Man At Your Right Hand That You Have Made Strong For Yourself"
Psalms 80:
7
Restore us, O God of hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!
8 You have brought a vine out of Egypt; You have cast out the nations, and planted it.
9 You prepared for it, and caused it to take deep roots, and it filled the land.

14 Return, we beseech You, O God of hosts; look down from heaven and see,
and visit this vine
15 And the vineyard which Your right hand has planted, and the branch that
You made strong for Yourself.

17 Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, upon the son of man whom
You made strong for Yourself.
18
Then we will not turn back from You; revive us, and we will call upon Your name.
19 Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!

Speaking Words of Life Establishes a Memorial in the Book of Life
Malachi 3:
16
Then they that feared the Lord spoke often one to another: and the Lord hearkened,
and heard it, and a book of Memorial was written before him for them that feared the Lord,
and that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels;
and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves him.

The Redeemed Congregation Of The Lord’s Inheritance
Psalms 74:2 Remember Your congregation, which You have purchased of old,
The tribe of Your inheritance, which You have redeemed—
This Mount Zion where You have dwelt.

The Planting Of The Lord, and the spirits of Just Men made perfect
Hebrews 12:
22
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered
in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect.

The Planting Of The Lord, and the Vision of Balaam
Numbers 24:
1
And when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he went not,
as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.
3 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor has said, and the man
whose eyes are open has said:
4 He has said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty,
falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
5 How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!
6 As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees
of lign aloes which the Lord hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.
