    Physical Attraction

This brings up another point, now that I'm thinking about it. If a man and woman are married and one of them just completely lets themselves go physically, would the other person still be under obligations to have sexual relations? What if that person is no longer attracted to the partner?

    Physical Attraction

Would it be wrong of a Christian guy to only date pretty/skinny girls (and vice versa)? I understand that every person has different taste, but let's say a guy and a girl hit it off but the guy says "Man, if she wasn't overweight, I'd date her." Is that okay by Christian standards? I understand...

    Where did God come from?

brinny, I've got to admit.. God doesn't sound like what I imagined him to. I thought he would have a deeper voice.

    Where did God come from?

Admittedly, this is my whole point here. If people are able to so readily accept that God was always there, and that he was always "just that way", then why is it so farfetched for somebody to use that same ideology about something else, like biological matter... that the matter came together...

    Where did God come from?

Side question, why do you guys capitalize "he"? I understand that it's like that in the Bible and it's a sign of respect, but is there any more specific reasoning behind it?

    Where did God come from?

I say that it cannot be applied to God because (for the sake of argument) God exists and anything that exists has to have an origin. The main problem I'm encountering here is that many of the arguments being thrown out here can be applied using identical logic to other beliefs.

    Where did God come from?

But this refers to the beginning of the Earth (and universe). What about God before he created the universe? Who wrote the Book of Genesis? They must have been told exactly how the story happened by God or whomever it was passed down to by Adam and Eve. Did Adam and Eve not think to question God...

    Where did God come from?

Honest question... Are there any verses or stories in the Bible that address how God came into existence, or how he had always been there?

    Where did God come from?

Okay, so then if you choose to believe that he was just always there and didn't need to be created, then obviously there shouldn't be anything wrong with people applying the same logic, and believing that the initial biological matter of the world was just there, and didn't need to be created by...

    Where did God come from?

Christians believe that God created humans, and that humans did not evolve from earlier life forms. If that is the case, and that humans' existence didn't happen through the marvels of nature and science, then who/what created God? How did he first come into existence? (If you are willing to...
