Dare to pick a bone with me

Very many evidences convince me about God's existence. He has intervened in my life at very specific circumstances in my life. So I know He exists. History proves it through records in the Bible.

Dare to pick a bone with me

Definitely the Manna from Heaven. The True Bread. Jesus. His body and His blood have been the food by which I have lived. I think that should take me through. He is the water of life. My thirst is quenched everytime I drink of Him. No doubts. Jesus.

I appreciate your question, but don't think I can comment on the issue.

For those who say that Israel isn't prophecy fulfilled

For all your elaborate arguments, what have I done? Have I said anything that is unreasonable? BTW, God anointed Cyrus, a pagan king to shepherd his people!!

IMHO it is a well-fed servant being appalled seeing the prodigal son go hungry.

For those who say that Israel isn't prophecy fulfilled

I appreciate your zeal, but it must be accompanied with knowledge. You have picked out a passage that is sandwiched on either side with warnings. So the point? If Israel does not show herself as holy, seperated unto the Lord, she will meet the same fate as the nations that once surrounded her.

For those who say that Israel isn't prophecy fulfilled

Visionary: "Are the prophecies of Israel hinging on their faith in Yeshua or are they a body the world can follow to see the hand of God dealing with nations? " Dear Visionary, Although you claim to 'not neglect' Yeshua, your posts betray you. You almost seem to have 'strayed' into the New...

For those who say that Israel isn't prophecy fulfilled

The prophecies of Israel solely hinge (I think that's what you mean) on faith in Yeshua. Coz it is faith in Yeshua that will revive Israel's lost glory (much like David's commitment led to God's blessings upon David's kingdom, more visibly fulfilled - for David's sake- in Solomon). Isaiah, the...

For those who say that Israel isn't prophecy fulfilled

Sad that you dashed my good hopes. The entire book of John is to focus on what you are trying to neglect. For the point that you're trying to make you will have search some other text. I really doubt if you'll find one. 'Jesus only' theology is all there is in the New Covenant. The book of...

For those who say that Israel isn't prophecy fulfilled

I think you are not very convinced that the restoration is happening now as said by the prophets of old. And I think I'm in good agreement with you. I think one needn't be a prophet to know this. The touchstone is this: have they returned back to Jesus Christ the Lord of all? And you have...

For those who say that Israel isn't prophecy fulfilled

In good faith I believe you intend to underline the fact of God's approval on Jesus. That Jesus indeed was The One he always claimed to be: the Son of God.

For those who say that Israel isn't prophecy fulfilled

I think the following words I heard will be very helpful in all your future study of the Bible. It will prevent you from misquoting it: Remember, when it comes to Scripture, three things are key: 1) Context 2) Context 3) Context
