    Has anyone been following Intel?

    The Duo 2 Core has two processors on one chipset. It took years to Intel to accomplish that. Two months later, they released a QUAD core with four processors. (Price tag $900). What's next? 8 Core. Target: Q1 2007. Is it me, or is this an extremely bad time to buy a brand new top of the line...

    Also, I shopped around at Costco and Sam's Club, at found several for $900 to $1100. That is $500 cheaper than Dell's 30" LCD monitor! Which leaves about $1100 for the actual computer.

    I'm not a big fan of manipulation, but I see no problem in talking about money or giving a lot of my money away. IF it's in my heart. It not then whatever. But money doesn't automatically = evil to me.
