Pat Robertson says "Divorce Wife with Alzheimer's"

I'm not sure what camp everyone is in, but for those who believe in no divorce (for 2 Christians) then I agree that would seem to imply sin for them. The next question for me for that view..is..did Jesus' death on the cross take care of that sin? I would say it does. May not be a high water...

Pat Robertson says "Divorce Wife with Alzheimer's"

Haha, funny thread to make a comment in, first in years, but I when hear PR say if the husband is going to "do something" - I hear him using a euphemism for HAVE ADULTERY......THEN the H should just go ahead and divorce etc etc. So I don't read it as advice for everyone or anything he'd...

Wow, haven't logged onto CF in ages, and saw this thread in the profile area. Hello to everyone! Not sure what to update on - basically have the same life stuff, but working on self improvement. Busy with church, small groups, and the amazing ride with JC. Would you...

    Family #3 (4)

Sorry for the delay. RL is quite busy - Long hours and trying to keep priorities inline. Overall, life is better than it could be. Of course, for me, and many people, aside from what actual events that happen to you it's usually more important how you view those things. I would say both events...

A Need To Process Our Experiences

Cat4Him, good to see you. (you too CM). Our church does a Christmas program but uses recorded music, but a big choir. The choir began meeting either in late August or September. Every Sunday. To me that is ridiculous (4 months prepping), but to the people involved, that must be a thing they...

A Need To Process Our Experiences

You know, I forgot about this idea of yours, but I think I DID. I had two projects appear, get handled, and the people are happy. It doesn't always work that way! :) Btw, busy thread today. BW that is a bit of a rough road to be on, but there is some drawing near that you get to do.

    J&P, you know 'The Message" is available for free online at http://www.biblegateway.com Some sections can be pretty humorous too. Take a look at 2 Cor 12 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20cor%2012;&version=65;

A Need To Process Our Experiences

Well to be honest, the nearest Japanese restaurant near us offers a great combo (for me) which has a wonderful 6-8oz steak and then a variety of sushi. We don't get tempura that much, but shrimp in almost any form is great.

And see, right now TMC has on the Manchurian Candidate - the great B&W one Frankenheimer directed. The dream sequence was great. Had it on while waiting for 17yo son to finish something so we could get going on the home project of the day.

A Need To Process Our Experiences

Whoa! Need it sliced up for sure. The family like Japanese a bit more than I but we've gone for Sashima of a variety of fishes. Still a nice California Roll (fish, rice and seaweed) dipped in soy sauce is great.

A Need To Process Our Experiences

74 and Fair. We had some lower clouds later yesterday afternoon and by the coast I hit sprinkles for about 30 seconds. Weird. Joy, I'll watch AMC but hate the commercials. My wife will come in and see me watching something and say "we have that..we could get it out" :D But I actually don't...

A Need To Process Our Experiences

DA, I have had octopus. :) One night at a sushi bar where we had tons of things. Of course sliced up into little tiny slices - it didn;t look like a sea monster. And GG, I watch TCM a lot too. I hate commercials so it's a nice channel. Quite a variety of movies. The last couple of movies I...

    Boundaries

I'dlike to get clarificaiton from TW on whatever "the book" view is, as he does so well explaining. There is a difference as we know between expressing a boundary and trying to control another versus stating what you will and won't accept or what your actions would be. It's like there's 3 pieces...
