Been a while since I checked in here.

Had a busy but good Thanksgiving...hope all my US friends did as well I love Christmas but this year it is sounding complicated since all but one of my siblings are now married. So now they are discussing doing a Yankee Swap instead of doing gifts...I don't like that idea much though. My brother and I are on the same page and are trying to convince them to do something different. We'll see if that works lol.

Food at Christmas, I'm not much of a pig meat eater...I don't mind it, but I find most ham too salty for my taste. I do like pork chops with apple. I think I'll just vote for mashed potatoes all the way lol

I love ham but I can't stand turkey...its too strong for my taste.
especially love plum pudding...especially the minature ones. I could eat about 4 or 5 of those things. Now I think I will behave myself and limit myself to 3

Hi, Christina. I pray everything works out with your Christmas and that it is everything that you want it to be. Glad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving. I can understand about you being busy. That happens with all of us.

My sister's and my Thanksgiving was quiet but nice. On another note, I have decided to become a vegetarian at least for a little while as an experiment, for health reasons. I did eat turkey for Thanksgiving because it was a special occasion. The company that I work for gave turkeys to all of the employees. It's not to say that I'm going to be a vegetarian forever. It's just something I'm trying to see if it will make me feel better overall.

Next time I'm not going to sit down so close to the water! I was sitting on the beach and a wave came up and I ended up with a wet bottom!

I can identify with that one. A few years ago when my sister and I went to San Francisco, a wave came up and almost knocked us over!

Went down to the beach this morning and watched the sun come up. Praise God for the beautiful morning!

Don't know of anything off hand, just plenty of rest, liquids, and chicken soup as I was told by my mother. I will be praying for you. Feel better soon, bro.

So, taking some Dimetapp, chillin', having water, having chicken...it does help...

Glad to hear you're doing a little better. Christina's right about the water. Keep up on it. I always had a problem with drinking water, but I'm trying to drink more of it now.

Also try echinacea. Its a natural remedy but its also really good for sore throats. And keep up the fluids!

I forgot about echinacea. I've tried it and it works.
