Good morning Holy Spirit

Hi all , I've just been given a book called good morning Holy Spirit by a freind , it's about benny hinn , I've tried to read it but everytime I pick it up I feel the spirit urging me not to read it , has anyone else had this or am I just over reacting , I've read many books before but never struggled like I am with this one , thanks and bless you Andy

Go with your instinct! If you think its God, it probably is!! I don't know anything about Benny hinn, besides that he looks friendly. Lol. But everyone looks friendly to me .

Hi Andy, Try something by John Piper, J. I. Packer or C.H.Spurgeon. Good nourishing stuff.
Benny Hinn? They say that if one can't say anything good don't say anything at all.

I have the same effect when trying to read the Book of Mormon.

I have the book somewhere here in this house as well. I love the concept! But I do not remember getting anything that spiritual out of the material. You have got to watch today's TV preacher, their motive in book writings are to make millions of dollars rather than actually help people!

It's about having a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Very good stuff in there.

Well I've read that book but not had any nudgings NOT to read it but then I read my Bible first. Maybe God wants you to read your Bible more?
