That way i'll be able to ride back and forth between where i have to park and where i live.

They usually do this refinishing every other year.
I'm glad that it's comming around now, as there are a couple of sink holes that need to be filled in before they swallow a car...

Yikes! Sink holes are not good. Happy car shuffling...

Unfortunately little Max was sick. He brought up a few pebbles that he obviously swallowed yesterday evening.

A lesson for me to always watch where his mouth is going...

Gussie is sleeping peacefully by the looks of things - puppies are a wee heap - some definitely suckling but I can't see them individually

Opal's pups are awake and playing with what looks like a cuddly green tortoise or summat

yep! during the last year or so, some of the underground waste water pipes broke in spots. they were fixed and the surface was patched at the time.
but since then the filler used beneith the paving has subsided, so now there is a depressed spot in the road about 6" deep, and the width of a car.
and it's not a very good idea to try and drive through it, for the car's sake.

hopefully they will get those few spots repaired at the same time they are doing the resurfacing.
the other good thing is that all this activity will provide hours of kitty-watching opportunities.

it will. they've scheduled all this work for this week, and so far the weather forecast is cooperating just fine.
