This is a selfish pub opening this time as we, at home, are about to get a new labrador puppy in a couple of weeks. Very exciting but a lot of work and organising is required. Here is the first snap of puppy. We've not thought of a name for him yet...

Flight was good - left slightly late - dunno why but we were in on time

And that's the last trip my little Sikh taxi driver will be doing for me

His wife died last month and he can't stand the thought of staying here - so next week he's off to Barcelona for a month - taking the kids with him too [ 2 boys still in primary School ] . Seems there's a huge Sikh Community there and a very good International School for the 2 kids.

As he says - if it doesn't work out - he's having a house built down the coast from here and will rent it out till he knows if he can settle in Spain - if he can't - then he's got a nice house to return to

He'd been very clever - for the last two years they knew that Kim was most unlikely to survive - so he'd been preparing the kids - the School were astounded the way they coped towards the end - they were totally matter of fact about it
