No it's not impossible to experience that, but she was a christian and couldn't do it herself. She gave a preaching on forgiveness in a German church just after the war and that man was there and he said: That was a nice preaching mrs Ten Boom. Now will you forgive me? She couldn't. She chose to do it and put her hand out to shake his and then she felt God's Love for him.

That Corrie Ten Boom story is so powerful. I think I need to read her book again The Hiding Place. I need a hiding place as well, a place to lay my head.

I love that book.
It was made into a movie as well.
Corrie Ten Booms sister died in the concentration camps. It was her quiet faith that inspired Corrie to draw closer to Jesus.

She couldn't but she did anyway (strikes me as a contradiction) and after she did it she felt God.

Alright. If you want to believe that agape love is the only real love and the only way to experience it is to believe in God, go for it. I believe all people are capable of feeling real love, but that's just my belief.

I don't beliwve that's the only real love. Human love is real too. Romans 2 says that gentiles can do it too, but I can't.
My sister and her husband truly love each other and aren't christian. I don't say that's fake love or something.
But if people who don't know God can let themselves get killed by Isis or something and love those people that do it, I don't know. I'd have to see it to be convinced.

This stemmed from someone saying agape love (God's love) is the "only REAL love" earlier in this topic, which brought my line of responses.

I don't know that you would be in a good place if you saw ISIS killing people and being forgiven and loved while it happened.

Gods love is greater than our love can ever be. Only Jesus died to save our souls...hes the only man on earth to do that for me, that I know of....

There was nothing really in it for him. He loved me even though I was a horrible sinner. Most people would turn away but he didnt.
