All changes require an adjustment period. Trust God, Clean House and Help Others is Christianity in a nutshell, but each requires your active participation.
In order to Trust God, most people start with improving their conscious contact, through prayer, meditation, church attendance and STUDYING The Scripiture.. The Bible reveals to us the character (nature) of God and His Plan for our life. God wants you to enjoy your life here on earth to Live Abundantly (that does not mean acquiring "things"). Jesus left us peace and sent/provided us with a comforter (Holy Spirit). Start by learning..Practice. We get instructions on what we can do to improve our daily lives and our character by this study of the word of God.
We renew our minds DAILY. When you change your thinking (the result of a renewed mind) your emotions and behaviors will soon fall into place. This is what is meant by First things First....and Seek ye first...The Kingdom of God.. Just start and remain committed and watch the changes take place. It is like the Transformation of the butterfly..not without struggle, but you get beauty for ashes (if you will just become willing to trade) and at the end of the transformation you find you have become a new creature..a beautiful creature...free to fly and fulfill the destiny God designed for you.
Once you get that down the cleaning out will happen little by little and the desire to help others will become your passion. We can be proactive in these things, by learning to be Grateful, Cheerful and Helpful (Practice-make a gratitude list & update it weekly, make an effort to speak positively to/about YOURSELF and others, recoil from negative energies, make a habit of thanking God for the gift of life ea day as you awake, for every bite of food that goes in your mouth, for your health, sound mind, etc. DAILY..and Commit random acts of kindness. Make and effort to Do one good deed for somebody..every day in secret..(we do not do it for praise nor accolade) this will help you form good habits and help you on your new path.
