Can you give me examples of popular but unscriptural Christian cliches? I shall start the ball rolling with this :
"Slain by the Holy Spirit"
I just cannot find the word "slain" in the New Testament.
The verb to slay means to kill. Only Ananias and Sapphira are recorded in the Second Testament as having been 'slain in the Spirit' (Acts.5).
Here's another oxymoron for you...Jesus being both fully God and fully man?!
