Hi CoreyD, yes I agree the Millennium 1,000 years is in the future and yes , the people in their non glorified bodies are on the earth.
What do you mean, Dr. Graham, by "people in their non glorified bodies"?

Even with satan bound many will still rebel against Christ at the end of the 1,000 years when satan is released for a while ( Rev 20:7). I believe the separation of sheep and goats (Matt 25:31) may be at this point.
You don't believe Matthew 25:31 refers to the coming of Christ?
Does that not happen before Christ' 1,000 year reign?

Entrance to the Millennium cannot be on how we treat our fellow brothers but on whether we have accepted Jesus as Lord and saviour. The unwise virgins who were not spirit filled (no oil in their vessels) found the door closed , they must have been immature Christians but if they truly started the journey of faith maybe Romans 8:28-29 will apply and God will complete the work .
Isn't the way we treat our fellow brothers an indication of whether we are obeying Jesus' command, or not, which is a requirement for accepted Jesus as Lord and savior. John 13:34, 35; John 15:12; 1 john 3:14
How can we claim to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, if we are not obeying Christ's commands? John 14:15

Jesus did say though, that entrance into the millennium does depend on how we treat his brothers. Not our fellow brothers. There is a difference, isn't there?
Matthew 25
34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

The decision of who receives a glorified body to rule with Christ in the Millennium, is whether we are mature, led by the Holy Spirit and if we have died to ourselves and the flesh , on the journey of sanctification and are hidden in Christ, before His return.
I thought the decision was based on whom God selected, by anointing them with holy spirit.
Aren't these the ones that are born by spirit, and isn't it God who seals them by holy spirit? Romans 8:23; 2 Corinthians 1:22; 2 Corinthians 5:5; Ephesians 1:13, 14; Revelation 7:4
Isn't it?

Hi , the people on the earth in the Millennium will live long lives and still be able to procreate in their non-glorified bodies. Those in their glorified bodies will be 'like the angels' (Luke 20:36) . Even the NIV bible think Matthew 25:31 refers to life at the start of the Millennium or at the end of the Millennium just before the Great White throne of judgement. I agree that as we show fruit of the spirit we will 'love our neighbour as ourselves' but salvation is a gift of God, by faith in Jesus as Lord and saviour, and not dependant on our works. The parable of the talents teaches us that dispensational reward in heaven is based on what we do with the talents we have been given by God. We are saved by faith 'for' works not 'by' works. Even the thief on the cross was in paradise with Jesus that night, by faith in Jesus not works.

Isn't faith evident by works? James 2:1-26

Hi, yes faith is evident by works, but those works do not lead to or even contribute to salvation. 'For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -not by works, so that no-one can boast' (Eph 1:8-9). It is possible to do works without faith ( like treating the people of God well) but Jesus answered people who said ' Lord, Lord, did we not drive out demons and perform many miracles', He answered ' Then I will tell them plainly , I never knew you, Away from me , you evildoers' ( Matt 7:22-23). It is your personal relationship with Jesus ( who do you say I am) that leads to salvation. Isaiah says ' all our righteous acts are like filthy rags'( Isa 64:6). We cannot add anything to the completed work of Jesus for our salvation. Jesus plus anything equals nothing, Jesus plus nothing equals everything.

You agree faith is evident by works, but don't think those works lead to or even contribute to salvation?
I'm not sure I understand you.

Could you help me by answering a few questions please.
  1. Is faith required for salvation?
  2. Can faith exist without works?
  3. If those works are not there, do we have faith?
  4. Are those works necessary then, and do they play an important part, or 'contribute to salvation'?

I would ask a few questions first before I answer. Are you born again? If so what part of you is born again? If you had died 2 seconds after you had been born again would you have gone to be with Jesus?
Don't you want to answer them? Could you please explain why, if that is the case.

I'm sorry @Dr Graham, that you did not answer my questions, but I think the subject is too important to leave unanswered, so for the benefit of persons who may be interested, I would like to finalize this.

Could you help me by answering a few questions please.
  1. Is faith required for salvation?
  2. Can faith exist without works?
  3. If those works are not there, do we have faith?
  4. Are those works necessary then, and do they play an important part, or 'contribute to salvation'?
According to the scriptures...
  1. Yes. Faith is required for salvation. John 3:16-18; Romans 1:16, 17; Romans 10:1-10; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 timothy 3:15;
  2. No. Without works, faith is dead - useless. James 2:17, 26
  3. If the works are not there, there is no faith.
  4. Yes. Works are necessary, and play an important part in salvation

Does this contradict Paul?
Romans 3:20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
Romans 3:27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith.
Romans 3:28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

No.
James is not referring to works of law. Paul is.
Works of law cannot save anyone. As Paul makes clear to the congregation in Rome.

This often is the cause of misunderstanding, as is the case here.
Works of faith, and works of law, are two different things.

Why did God chose the same planet that He had banished Satan to, to spend 6 days perfecting for mankind?
We are told that Satan was mad at God for banishing him to the Earth so he wanted for creation to destroy itself. That was at the time of the dinosaurs when they developed teeth and began to devour each other. We are warned that Satan wants to do the same thing today to destory the Church. So we have division and conflict to know who is and who is not approved.

Galations 5 15 "But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another."

God has a plan of redemption to restore the Earth to His plan and purpose. All of Creation.

The Hebrew letter shin (ש), which is the 21st letter of the Hebrew alphabet, literally means "tooth". The letter has a numerical value of 300 and makes two sounds: "SH" with a dot on the right side, and "S" with a dot on the left. The dot is not actually in the original manuscript. That was added later when they tried to incorporate the oral tradition with the written scriptures.

The first thing I learned as a Christian is you cannot get the cart before the horse. Works does not save us. If we are saved the evidence that we are saved is our good works. Saved people do not continue in sin and debauchery. That is what it means to be a born again believer in Christ Jesus.

Hi, yes I agree. Our works do not save us, we are saved by faith in Jesus as Lord and Saviour ' for' good works. How we use the gifts we have been given by God will lead to dispensational reward in heaven. All we take with us is our character and we need to more conformed to the character of Jesus everyday. We do this by dwelling with Him daily and being led by the Holy Spirit.

Hi, did God banish satan to the earth before He created mankind? If so we are not here just to worship God but individually and corporately to use the gifts God has given us to defeat satan.
There were primates at the time of the dinosaurs but they were very small. Mice today is a primate. That is why science likes to use them for their study and experiments. There was a change in the atmosphere. So man was able to evolve. We are given dominion and authority. Though us God wants to restore the earth. That is why those who destroy will be destroyed and those who redeem will be redeemed. Through us God wants to be a part of His creation. From the beginning we are the church, we are the tabernacle of God.

Hi Diamond7, I truly believe in the 6 days of creation. Each species was created with the appropriate DNA for that species only. I do not believe in evolution of any kind. Yes survival of the fittest and variations within a species but no evolution. If you mate a horse and a donkey you get something that cannot procreate. God designed it that way. Only God can create life, man can clone existing life but not create life. There are no missing links between species found because they never existed.

Amen and fully covered by the Armour of God. The fruit grows as we submit to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Jesus praised Mary for sitting at His feet rather than worrying about domestic things like Martha.

That does not work with my wife. She would rather I clean house than to read my Bible.
