If the 1% are exempt then nothing Would be collected. The 65% is only for estates worth over half a billion dollars.

You might want to watch the WSJ link. Rich people insulate their assets so this tax won't apply to them. That means it will apply to you, me, and all of us who aren't as rich as Hillary.

They will put it in trust funds for their children so they never have to work, but then, what kind of work does Chelsea do with the Clinton foundation? Count all the donations from oil rich supporters of terrorism?

It's just a ploy by her to make it look like the Republicans are covering for the rich while she claims to want to tax them. (As long as you make a campaign contribution to her or a donation to the Clinton Foundation you will be exempt)...

and they are the only ones that would have 500k worth of estate to worry about more than likely. Although there may be cases where that is not true; since not everyone who can afford to live that high on the hog lets it be known.
