MGTOW? No, I don't think. I think men get unfairly treated in the court systems, and I'm in favor of men trying to stay clear of legal obligations as much as possible, but I still engage with women.

There is no hard and fast rules concerning MGTOW. Some engage with women, some don't. That's the whole point about "going their own way". And that's what drives feminists nuts. There is no "organization" or "rules" to it so, they cant label anyone.

Some men have absolutely no association with women, except on a professional level, like at work or in a store.
Some men only associate with women in their family.
And some men just completely ignore women altogether, forego all relationships, and even refuse to work, since taxes from their labor would support the "gynocentric, welfare culture/state".

Males make up the vast majority of consumers.
Where did you get this idea from? 52% of the global population is female and most people who play videogames or read comic books are female, contrary to popular belief and propaganda from a sexist society.

Sources? I know most people who play hardcore games are not women. Most women who game play things like "angry birds" or "Kim Kardashian's wild boat ride."

Source.

A new study released by the Entertainment Software Association has revealed that adult women now occupy the largest demographic in the gaming industry. Women over 18 made up a whopping 36 percent of the gaming population, followed by adult men at 35 percent.

Men make up the vast majority of consumers in relation to sci-fi, graphic novel, and superhero movie purchases. I play video games and the majority of online players are teenage boys and men. I don't know where you get your statistic from, but industry stats show most are men. That was one of the main feminist complaints behind gamergate. That "the boys" wouldn't let the girls play. And truly die hard consumers are at least 90% male.

Your 52% stat comes from the UK, not worldwide, also, they included phone games (Tetris et al) and PC games (like Farmville-which is considered an RPG). If you exclude those "kid" games, men outnumber women 3-1.

That doesn't actually support the claim that more women play games. Adult women may make up 36%, but 52% are male (35% adults + 17% teenagers).

But given that it's so close, the margin of error could be such that it actually is women who make up the majority. So I think the one thing that you can say is that there really isn't much in it.

I never said hardcore games, I said videogames. Also, that last statement is extremely sexist and derogatory.

I said "the global population is 52% female", I never said what that actual statistic was on females who played videogames but CuteTink has effectively provided the proof you require. You cannot prove your statistic yet someone else was able to prove my statistic, so your argument is null and void.

I saw this book in an opshop that is called batkid. Maybe its a whole series, I dunno.
If you writing a comic and someone else takes over, they have creative license to do whatver they like with the characters.

Newsflash, most series are ghostwritten by others not the original creator.
This is because the originial creator got tired and ran out of ideas. If you have artistic integretiy, you dont let others interfere with your work and make it so distinctive that nobody would dare copy or parody it.

Actually, CuteTink provided an erroneous source. Here is a better one, which was also written by a woman, that gives more accurate information.

http://www.bigfishgames.com/blog/2015-global-video-game-stats-whos-playing-what-and-why/

48% of gamers are female
Up another percentage point from last year (47%), women are a massive force in the video gaming audience. I predict that this time next year, we’ll see a shift in who makes up the majority. Also, video game purchasers are split right down the middle. 50% are men. 50% are women.

52% of gamers in the UK are women
Across the ocean, a study conducted in September 2014 found that 52% of gamers are women. Of those surveyed, 33% listed their favorite game genre to be Trivia/Word/Puzzle. It goes without saying that mobile and casual gaming has contributed to the steady rise in female gaming. However, in that same study it was discovered that 56% of female gamers have played on a console and 68% have played online.

Also, here are the listed Top 10 game purchases. Notice what most of them have in common?

1. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
2. Madden NFL 15
3. Destiny
4. Grand Theft Auto V
5. Minecraft
6. Super Smash Bros
7. NBA 2K15
8. Watch Dogs
9. FIFA 15
10. Call Of Duty: Ghosts

They are traditionally male games.

If you actually read further into the link I posted, you will see that it comes back with the same numbers as yours, though yours breaks the info down more, but since both articles got their information from the same group (Entertainment Software Assocation), that shouldn't be surprising.

There is a difference, by the way, between saying that adult women make up 36% of the gaming population and saying that 48% of the gaming population is female.

Most of the games women play, which are usually like FB games (Farmville, royal story, etc.) aren't the same as the hardcore games men play. With Farmville/etc., you can walk away for hours at a time and not really lose much, if anything. Men are attracted to FPS and tactical/strategy games, which if you walk away, you lose. I know men who, when they aren't working, spend 95% of their free time playing. The vast majority of die-hard gamers are men. And lumping all the different types of games together is misleading and makes it seem as if women are as fanatical as men, which is why most of the top sellers are directed toward men.

That's all well and good, but had nothing to do with the original point being made, nor did it have anything to do with me posting the link that I did, which was just to put some numbers to the discussion about whether men or women make up the majority of consumers.

I don't think anyone was claiming that any particular group, other than men, were obsessively fanatical about gaming.

LOL Yeah, when you proudly state "52% of gamers are women", you weren't trying to suggest that women were equal to men in the "gaming world"? Most of the games that women buy are a few dollars. The games men play can run $30-$150/each. By lumping gaming women in with gaming men, the industry was pandering to feminists after the gaming industry was "burned" by gamergate.

"Proudly state"? ^_^

I honestly think you might be getting a little defensive about this.

I never did anything but supply some numbers to a sourceless discussion. Then you called out my link as "erroneous" when, in fact, it provided the exact same information as yours did, it just broke the numbers down differently.

And no, I would never pay $150 for a game. Jeez. Buy it used in a few months.
