An analogy would be the orbit of Earth. Some people might argue that if the velocity of the Earth was just a little bit different, then the Earth would have crashed into the Sun billions of years ago. That doesn't prove that an intelligent creator carefully designed the initial conditions of the Earth to achieve this stable orbit.
Not by itself.
But the whole universe (this includes the laws of physics) seems to be fine tuned, and small derivations would make our existence impossible.

It doesn't look fine-tuned to me.
and small derivations would make our existence impossible.
And we would not be here to ponder it.

How can you tell that what you perceive as design/fine-tuning is not simply a case of anthropomorphic projection?

Yeah but Christians believe those men were inspired by God so God is the actual author and in the bible God is against those who create false gods and worship them so why would God created false gods? That makes no sense logically let alone religiously. The bible states a house divided cannot stand.
As I've said, men wrote the bible, and your opinion is based on the opinions of others.

And as I said, it was God that wrote the bible, and no opinion is a part of this.

Explain how I didn't. Scientists use data (the evidence for the BB) and logic everyday to come to conclusions about causes. Explain how I didn't do what scientists do everyday.

bh: Comparing yourself to a scientist?

Actually I am a scientist.

bh: Ok, what is your falsifiable test, to determine whether god was the cause of the universe?
If the universe was eternal, not expanding, not winding down and not a unity within a diversity then that would falsify the theory that the Christian God created this universe.

Does this theory you mention above, meet scientific standards of a theory?

What evidence points only to a God and no other possible causes (if there was a cause)?

And sorry, your test, does not meet scientific standards.

A system is a region of space.

A state is the arrangement of matter, energy, and otherwise existing things within a system.

Causality acts on a system to take it from one state to another over a duration of time.

"Prior" to the t=0 event, space and time "did" not exist. Phrased more precisely, in a state of reality wherein the t=0 event has not occurred, space and time do not exist. Therefore, causality does not exist. Therefore, the t=0 event cannot have been brought about via causality.

Actually there is evidence of other dimensions and at least one of those dimensions is believed by some scientists to be another dimension of time. Therefore it is quite reasonable to believe that the universe was caused from another time dimension.

That just pushes it back one step. There has to be some universe that originally came about without cause or else never came about at all and exists eternally.

No, God is clear in scripture that there is only one real God and other gods are false gods. God certainly isn't going to be causing new false gods to be created in people's imaginations.
I see a lot of this with product advertising too..
"Only use our products, all others are not as good, accept no substitutes"..

Or my favorite:
"New and Improved!"

LOL
