The fake Syrian one?
Even if it was fake that tells me something about the people. Either they are framing Syria. In which case they are VERY dangerous and smart OR Syria let them in and they got it that way in which case Syria is clearly not doing a good job of protecting them or others.

Well, even if Paris NEVER happened we still could not take all of them.
Well, we could take all of them. Don't underestimate how rich we are.

But I'm not advocating that. I'm suggesting we process them; if they're sick or injured we should help them, and if their home is too dangerous to return to, then we should offer them asylum. Doctors can check for illness and injury. Border officals and Arabic speakers (accents are a good indicator) can check their nationalities.

Anyway, this discussion is somewhat moot. Because, they're coming, whether we want them or not. They are, literally, dying to get here. So we have to process them when they arrive. And if they are refugees, we are bound by international law to offer asylum. It's not about how many we want to take, we legally have to take any who are genuine refugees.

*blink blink* Seriously, what?

You DO know there is a bloody civil war going on in Syria right now, right? I... I really can't comprehend what point you think you are making here "even if it was fake that tells me something about the people."...who are you even talking about?

Slam the door on those who are fleeing terrorism.
What a shameful moment for those who proclaim to be the home of the brave and free.

America is not a dumping ground for anyone on the planet with problems.

Since when?

..Since America decided not to be a dumping ground for everyone on the planet with problems. When it realized that it is not infinitely bountiful and has it's own people to deal with.

How do we ensure the people who come here need help?

Is this a serious question?

Here's an example of how one of the cities of where these people come from looks like these days:

Here's how their "road trip" looks like:

Here's how some of those trips end for many people:

And you dare to ask if these people really need help?

More "common sense"?

"Give me your tired, hungry, and poor"
There's many Americans who are tired, hungry, and poor. Why should we continue to abandon them and let others in?

That Syrian passport in Paris- ignore it. It's what sympathizers do best. Ignore reality. Take the moral highroad, and then when another terrorist attack happens, ignore that to. And the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that..

You certainly could. You just don't want to.

There's a big difference.
How COULD you? You just cannot be a dumping ground. If we took in everyone with problems we would end up a third world country or either we would FALL APART.
