I find that interesting because when I worked at Nauvoo with large numbers of LDS missionaries, they all believed that JS was the founder of polygamy. That BY only continued practicing it after they left Nauvoo. So it was sometime after that (the late 70's) that they started reversing that belief to one of JS not practicing it. It was in the 90s that the RLDS starting accepting it because they were finding more evidence for it.I've read that the LDS has recently acknowledged Smith's plural wives, admitting that he had between 30 and 40 of them.
