Well I have this belief that if Satan were to come and deceive everyone and be able to do great signs and wonders then he has to come in some sort of disguise. If he came as a great spiritual being then people would also start to think there may also be a God. If he is disguised as a man then the wonders he will do will be impossible for a man and everyone will suspect something else is going on. But because many have bought into the evolution story and now will believe that life can come from non life then aliens are quite possible. In fact there should be many forms of life out there in the universe. So eventually an alien coming would not be as great a freak out as many think. In fact some will welcome them with open arms. We have been talking about UFOs and alien life for years. People have been making claims and having sightings and abductions. We are now more accepting of aliens and UFOs than ever before. This is the best way Satan can be under cover and have all the great tricks and powers that can amaze and fool many. So Satan coming as an alien would surprise me.Apparently there are aliens that will come from below the earth mentioned in the bible. They are evil and hurtful, and weird looking.
Some will also fall from the sky, and be grounded on earth. They are about to be a fact of life on earth.
They are demons.
Satan would come back as a preacher under cover. People mistrust aliens, but you wholeheartedly trust a preacher.
The way things have gone lately I dont think many people trust preachers. But yes I guess so but then how does he perform great signs and wonders if he is just a Human preacher. I would think people would be sus of a person who can do supernatural things. Certainly the science section would be saying its all hocus pocus. Where as if we finally get a visit from an alien then most people are ready for such a visit as they believe in evolution and that there is life out there somewhere.Satan would come back as a preacher under cover. Faith healers make a living out of fooling others into believing they can do miracles and whatnot:The way things have gone lately I dont think many people trust preachers. It's only really in the US that Christians don't believe in evolution - the rest of Christendom has moved on. Besides, is God made life on Earth in six days, who's to say he didn't do the same elsewhere? Who's to say Jesus can't have died on each planet individually?Certainly the science section would be saying its all hocus pocus. Where as if we finally get a visit from an alien then most people are ready for such a visit as they believe in evolution and that there is life out there somewhere.
It would either be seen as a threat like we depict in movies or the opposite as a friend coming to help us with our environmental issues. They would have great technology that would seem magical and give us solutions to a lot of our problems. This would win over many. The other thing is that it could sway some believers as the bible says as they would then think that evolution is true because there is life on other planters as Jesus would not have died twice for other planters. So they would start to doubt their own beliefs and start to believe in evolution.
Besides, is God made life on Earth in six days, who's to say he didn't do the same elsewhere? Who's to say Jesus can't have died on each planet individually?
The majority of Christians dont believe the evolution you are talking about. Most people believe in an evolution within the same species. But there is no evidence for an kind of creature morphing into another type. A dog like Pakicetus didn't become a whale. A dino didn't become a bird. There is no evidence for this. Some religious people believe that God started the process of evolution but this has all sorts of implications for the bible and some of the core beliefs of a Christian God. Thats makes the bible wrong and then makes the rest untrusted and then we are starting to not believe any of the bible. It's only really in the US that Christians don't believe in evolution - the rest of Christendom has moved on. Jesus would not have died for any other living souls on any other planets. The bible says he died once and fro all and he rose from the dead and sits at the right hand side of God. He has done it the once and thats it. So if this is true then there are no other living souls in the universe. There maybe some sort of creature like some strange bacteria or worm. But God anit sending Jesus over and over again to be setup for something he didn't do and go through all that again. Talk about ground hog day.
The majority of Christians dont believe the evolution you are talking about.
Actually, most Christians do. Every Catholic, for a start. The Anglicans, the orthodox churches... pretty sure the Uniting church does...
Yah well, some believe priests should not marry too.
1 Timothy 3:1-13; 4:1-5
Um... how's that relevant? You said "most Christians don't believe in evolution". That statement is demonstrably false.
And maybe those that believe in evolution follow a belief that also forbids their priests to marry in direct opposition to God's word. For as it asks: "but if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?"
So maybe those just haven't been doing a very good job of taking care of that Church, since they don't know how to manage a family?
The majority of Christians don't believe the evolution you are talking about.
The pit. The abyss. This is news? Things alien to earth are on their way here one day, maybe soon. They will be ordered not to kill mankind, but will be allowed to hurt them, those who sided with the dark side. They will inflict upon men a condition that is worse than a scorpion sting.Below the earth..where may that be?
Right, I think that is called deception.Well I have this belief that if Satan were to come and deceive everyone and be able to do great signs and wonders then he has to come in some sort of disguise. If he came as a great spiritual being then people would also start to think there may also be a God. If he is disguised as a man then the wonders he will do will be impossible for a man and everyone will suspect something else is going on.
Exactly, a way to omit God and credit something else falsely. But because many have bought into the evolution story and now will believe that life can come from non life then aliens are quite possible.
Spiritual, yes. But not physical, because why would God make all sorts of life and then fold up the universe and it exist no more?? That makes no sense. In fact there should be many forms of life out there in the universe.
Maybe. I can't predict all that. Possibly they would fear them? We do know demons like to enslave people if they can. There will be slaves again in the end big time. In fact all the world of unbelievers will be virtually enslaved with a mark that restricts what they can buy, or etc.So eventually an alien coming would not be as great a freak out as many think. In fact some will welcome them with open arms.
I know, there seems to be some reality to this demonic activity. We have been talking about UFOs and alien life for years. People have been making claims and having sightings and abductions. We are now more accepting of aliens and UFOs than ever before.
I think he has to use a man. (AntiChrist and False Prophet)This is the best way Satan can be under cover and have all the great tricks and powers that can amaze and fool many. So Satan coming as an alien would surprise me.

I would think it primarily refers to the surface of the earth. So is "earth"the ground or the globe we live on?
Actually, most do (source):The majority of Christians dont believe the evolution you are talking about.
Most also believe in the mainstream theory of evolution:Most people believe in an evolution within the same species.
No, no, of course they didn't...But there is no evidence for an kind of creature morphing into another type. A dog like Pakicetus didn't become a whale. A dino didn't become a bird.
99.97% of scientists believe otherwise, and they have the fossils and genetics to back it up.There is no evidence for this.
That's one steep and slippery slope. Some religious people believe that God started the process of evolution but this has all sorts of implications for the bible and some of the core beliefs of a Christian God. Thats makes the bible wrong and then makes the rest untrusted and then we are starting to not believe any of the bible.
I'm not sure how you're making this leap. Where does it say Jesus died for humans and no other species? Where does it say Jesus died only for Earth's intelligent species? The 'world' referred to in John 3:16 is ambiguous, and whether it means 'planet' or 'universe' doesn't preclude Jesus saving aliens it could be his sacrifice on Earth saved them ('world' means 'universe), or that he died once on each planet ('world' means 'Earth').Jesus would not have died for any other living souls on any other planets. The bible says he died once and fro all and he rose from the dead and sits at the right hand side of God. He has done it the once and thats it. So if this is true then there are no other living souls in the universe.
So you find it personally laborious to send Jesus to die repeatedly, so therefore it never happened? I'm pretty sure God, being omnipotent, can do whatever he wants. If he wants Jesus to die for every intelligent and soulful race he's created, then that's his prerogative. But God anit sending Jesus over and over again to be setup for something he didn't do and go through all that again. Talk about ground hog day.
The way I see it is that Christ died once and for all here on planet earth. If there were other people like us that can think and reason then God would have given them a soul as well. Then they would need salvation. Christ can only die and be raised from the dead into the right hand of God once. God wouldn't do it over and over again. It would be little the act itself.True, as I believe in variation amongst kinds, that in itself has been shown to be limited.

But then He created angels too, all the things visible and invisible. Who are we to think His grand plan includes just one life form on one tiny speck of dust in a universe of unimaginable size?
Me, I'm not that conceited to think I'm the center of that universe and can decipher God's plan for it, nor that God thought He needed to tell me everything.
The Bible only concerns itself with the creation of man. It doesn't bother to explain why He created billions of galaxies, with untold billions of stars and billions of planets. To think God might not have created life everywhere to declare His glory is unimaginable to me. God is everywhere, and where He is there exists life. The entire universe declares His glory, not just us. One can neither say yes nor no, the Bible is completely silent on this subject.
