Correct, I am skeptical of the experience, but I won't saythat this is always a false sign.
Skeptical? Ok being skeptical dont mean its not real. The thing with skeptics is that God does not stop what He is doing, or will do because people are skeptic. As i said to the pure in heart, all things are pure. Its all about trusting in God really.
I do believe that you can feel the spirit, but as to the tingling in the hands... not so sure that is a normal experience.
Some people can get that though the power of the Holy Spirit. Now some may have some nerve problems but tingling is one of the effects of the Holy Spirit's presence or manifestation.
I have not had that, although at one time I thought I was "slain" in the spirit a few times and got some funny laughs at church. Was fun.
Someone could have said youre crazy too if you tell them you got some Holy laugh. I know there is a Holy laugh, but some dont. I know there is a Holy Dance which is a 'swaying' kind of dance that is so amazing, but some dont. If we don't know, we dont have to totally discourage or condemn it. Trusting in God is the only thing we need to conquer in this world.
Some people are sensitive to the presence of the Holy Spirit, and can and always feel Him when He is around or manifesting. Even when the presence of the Lord is around, It can be felt in a powerful way. Its all positive feeling, its amazing, its ecstatic. When you are in the presence of God, really, no chance for the enemy to come close or infiltrate it.
Would do it again. But doesn't seem to be in vogue right now at church
doesnt have to be in vogue to do as the Holy Spirit leads. I dont look at whats in vogue or not. I dont look at what man thinks or say. I simply obey the Lord, and will gladly oblige whatever He wants to do through me. I belong to Him. I am me because of Him
And what is so odd about asking how many times this happens? Do you feel that hands tingling is a normal experience when in prayer?
