Well, you just might get your wish.

Last I checked, Ron Paul, Herman Cain, Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, and Rudy Giuliani were all within a few points of each other.

Going to be quite the rat race if you ask me...
I thought Romney was substantially ahead of the pack.

Cain's appearance on Glenn Beck last night was a huge success - many new supporters signed up. And even more will after he is (FINALLY) on Bill OReilly tonight. Then CNN again this weeked before the debate on Monday. Be a part of history, folks!

Why are you a big fan of Cain. He's a proven establishment candidate.

I'm siding with Zadok on this one... he doesnt' seem like a typical Republican establishment candidate to me.

Again, my position still stands. Another time, another place, and with the inequality of wealth not as high, Cain would be a pretty decent candidate. Right now though, I couldn't vote for him.

Just saw a clip in which Herman Cain says that, as President, he "will only allow small bills" meaning, legislation that runs 3 pages or less.

So are we all agreed that this guy doesn't understand the difference between the legislative and the executive branches of government? I mean given the fact that he thinks that the President gets to "allow" or "not allow" the length of bills passed in the House of Representatives or the Senate?

That's what I just linked to. After he took criticism for it, he actually revoked his stance. But it still showed that he is less of a serious presidential candidate, and more of a conservative talk show radio host.

Are you fishing??? "Establishment" but never having held public office before? Derided by the Karl Roves of the world? TEA party favorite? You really have to be joking here...

1. You obviously don't understand dry humor. He was intentionally exaggerating to make a point.
2. It's called a Veto.

Well, which is it? Was he exaggertating? Or would he actually veto a bill for being too long?

Can you imagine that? "Man, this thing is too long to read. *Veto!*"

There were 2 points raised in the post. First, she took the 3 pages thing literally, which it clearly was not. And second, the quip about "this guy doesn't understand the difference between the legislative and the executive branches of government" seems to be igorant of the President's Constitutional Veto power. Cain has promised to veto all bills with earmarks, pork barrel additions that have nothing to do with the purpose of the bill, and bills so long that the legislators themselves don't even read. In other words:
COMMON SENSE.
