1. Deities, in my mind at the very least are dependant on what sort of magick you are attempting to conjure or what protection you need.
Most pagans seem to take into account A god and A goddess and then call them by whatever names that are required.
Deities are just for name sake really.

So there are two deities who each come under many names? That would certainly fit in with the Charges.

Interesting. In my experience, there is something of a consensus on the 'law of threefold return': if you do good things, good things will happen to you threefold (and same with bad things). I never put much stock in it; do you?

3. Not all pagans/wiccans/whatever do believe in the supernatural, but U personally do. I think its very unlikely that for as long as humans have been sentient we have seen ghosts and felt spirits and that they are not real. I personally believe in ghosts because when i was 7 years old I remember "talking" to my grandfather after he died and just talking to him as though he is really there. In my mind a spirit may be in heaven but that doesn't mean they can't visit us or haunt us.

Speaking of which, what is your belief regarding the afterlife? I was always fond of the Summerlands, myself.

One it's PAGANS, and no lol, I don't think babies would taste very nice.

According to my Chemistry teacher, they taste like chicken. Go figure .

Afterlife? Well the summerlands sound awesome and that is my basic idea of what Heaven should be. I don't think many pagans have a hell idea. In my after-life scenerio you have one soul that developes and changes between each reincarnation until your soul is a pure soul or a learned soul and your soul wishes to stay forever in the summerlands.

That is an interesting perspective and not a lot different than the views in Judaism.
The book of Ezekiel in the Hebrew OT/OC of the Bible has an interesting chapter concerning souls

Here is the KJV translation but Ezekiel is a highly symbolic book, so sometimes it can be difficult to translate the hebrew into english and it is best to use a hebrew/english interlinear to help translate it. Sorry if I got off topic

Do you live in urban setting? If so, is it difficult to be a practicing pagan in such a noisy man-made environment? Is being pagan even a realistic path in an urban environment? Do you get away into the hills often yourself?

Well yes. And there has never really been a "before" for me, my family are literally half pagan and half catholic so i had the choice to be either and choose paganism.

And why is the ability to account for tragedy a requirement for any religion? Trying to explain "Why did this hurricane happen?" is trying to take control that belongs only to the deities.

Look at the book of Job, and picture G-d as Rick James. Why? Because he's God!...you know the rest.

Surrendering control, casting aside judgment, displacing the false ego with the real higher self...when you've done those things, you don't so much worry about "Why did x happen?" but "How can I help now that x has happened?"
