Price of gas where you live

OK, since there are lots of people on this forum from all over, it seems like it would make a good place to take an informal survey.

What is the current price of a gallon or litre (please indicate which) of gasline where you live?

Have you noticed a substantial change in the past month?

Please indicate your city and state/province/territory or if you don't want to list that, just say whether it is a rural or urban area.

I rarely drive so not really up on it.

But on the news today or yesterday they were mentioning it has gone up by over 30 cents in the last month or so.

EGAD!

And they are expecting it to continue to rise.
Methinks all tranportation prices will go up in time for summer vacations!

$2.89 per gallon here in slower, lower Delaware subject to change every Thursday through Monday

20 miles away in Salisbury, MD it's $2.77 per gallon so when I go there to shop, I fill 'er up

Today it jumped to $3.19 here in central Ohio. (Ouch!!!)

I am not sure exactly because I am carless right now. I borrowed my son's car on Tuesday and drove by a few stations.
I saw $1.14 per L near my son's work place. It was $1.11 per L where we get gas and I think it was $1.17 per L near my daughter's work place. I live in BC.

Last week someone from the city asked where to find my town. The answer was, "Just get on the highway and drive till the gass price goes down. Your there!"

In USD it would be abt. 8 dollars per gallon. Gas is expensive in Norway, and hence I do not drive much.

It's about $2.83 per gallon right now. It might be something else tomorrow though.,

I did the math and I think it works out to $4.20 Canadian per US Gallon.
With the exchange rate at noon today that would be $3.79 per Gallon.

Minneapolis was at $3.00 even in the last coupla days. That's up a bit from recently.

I just paid $2.85 per gallon in Houston, TX. yesterday. Same time last month I was paying around $2.60 so a big jump. Houston is so big that you have to drive everywhere so it gets expensive in a hurry.

I am in N Houston and have seen it from 2.83 - 2.89 / gallon. I shop at Kroger and you get points for every dollar spent, when you collet 100 you get .10 off so when I go tomorrow and get gas I will be paying 2.73 yippeee. Who knew I could get excited at that price. BLAH!

Um, hate to say this, but that is sale prices. Here in Ontario, just outside Toronto, the price is 1.03 a liter...times that by 4 and you got it...4.12! Yep, that is the cheap kind too.

$3.19 in NW Ohio - it's up about $.30 in the past 2 weeks, probably $.50 in the past month.

While I'm a strong believer in a free market society (and yes, capitalism) I'm thinking tht the rapid rise in cost borders on obscene. But that's just me.
