heating up, two hours istead of one, and annoying signatures

Last night while bumming around the house I noticed a backache coming on. Pretty soon I was feeling shivery. Upon getting ready for bed and then lying there feeling my face buring and my hands ice cold it was t hen obvious that I was running a fever. Could I find the thermometer to make sure? No. I can never find the blasted thing when I need it. It's always lying around all over the house when it's NOT needed though. Jim found it for me tonight though and I do indeed have a temp of 100. My lungs are still rattly and icky, though they do sound better today than they have for quite a while. I do believe I'm on the upswing of this virus or whatever it is.

Last night was daylight savings fall back. So last night before turning in, in my stupor I found myself having a hard time figuring out how to turn back my alarm radio. For some dumb reason I thought I had to go forward 23 hours, when it hit me DUH! Just go back one hour, silly! So I did that - or I thought I did that. This morning I awake at "5:30" relishing the extra hour of rest. It was a full 30 minutes before the radio was set to turn on. Wlaking around the house later I realized that in my stupor last night I had inadvertently set my radio back TWO hours instead of one. While I had been lying in bed relaxing in the bliss and comfort of my "extra hour" I should have been showering and eating breakfast. So, no breakfast for me and it was a rather rushed shower. I made it to rehearsal on time though, which was a great relief.

I have to write an email to Mr. V regarding Kerstie's take-home folder. It seems that someone has misplaced the cover sheet containing my signatures verifying that we've seen the schoolwork come home. Those signature sheets annoy me though they really shouldn't. I do look at my kids schoolwork and nage them daily to do their work, but for some dumb reason I find it difficult to sign those sheets and send them back to the teacher. I mean, how hard is it really? Too hard for me, I guess.
