A Wordsmith, Walking With God

One of the big influences in my life, as I've recently begun to make worship a central part of my life, has been the songs from Kim Walker-Smith. According to wikipedia:

"
Kim Walker-Smith (born December 19, 1981 as Kimberlee Dawn Walker) is an American singer, songwriter, worship leader, and recording artist. She produced her first solo album, Here Is My Song, which was released in February 2008 through the Jesus Culture record label. Walker-Smith is best known as the worship leader for the Jesus Culture Band and Jesus Culture events, and a worship pastor for Bethel Church in Redding.

Her rendition of the John Mark McMillan song, "How He Loves", has been viewed over 17 million times on YouTube. Her rendition of Brian Johnson's and Jon Mohr's song, "Where You Go I Go", has over 6 million views on YouTube.
"

From the first time I heard Throne Room through today and likely long into the future I desire be 'in the throne room':

"
Dream after dream
You are, speaking to me
Breathing, word after word
Of kingdom come
Here at Your feet
I can, see the unseen
Truly, one look at You
And I'm undone

I run to, the Throne Room
I run to, the Throne Room...

And I fall on my face
With angels and saints
And all I can say is
Holy, Holy, Holy
Are You God
My heart can't contain
The weight of Your Name
And all I can say is
Holy, Holy, Holy
Are You...
"

I encourage you to listen to Throne Room and her other songs (Fresh Outpouring, etc...) and let me know your thoughts. What artists have you encountered who share Kim's ability to craft powerful lyrics, sing them beautifully, and to draw your soul closer to The Father?
