Pro-Palestinian protesters are backed by a surprising source: Biden's biggest donors

Did any of them violate "US" law. Certainly some campus regulations, city ordinances, and even state laws were violated by the encamped protesters, but what federal law did the violate?
Certainly hate crimes are a violation of U.S. law. Sometimes laws can be prosecuted by either state or federal authorities. Vandalism, such as the defacing of the George Washington statue, can be a felony.

Federal troops were ordered in to protect black children so they could attend white schools. See the link to the photo below:
Joe stated that busing the black children to white schools would cause his children to grow up in "a racial jungle." This time Joe Biden should have already ordered in federal troops to make sure Jews are allowed to attend classes. He is making an even worse mistake today because he is president and had failed to take the proper action.

A hate crime is never charged as a primary offense, it’s always secondary to a violent (or violen-potential) charge. (Or some other crime)
Sometimes laws can be prosecuted by either state or federal authorities.
Some states do not have “hate crimes” legislation that is in force.

Signed by D Trump, yes.

What was Joey to do as a 17 year-old youth?

As others have pointed out to you, hate crimes are crimes because the underlying action is already a crime with or without the hate. "Hate" is only an enhancement to the level or punishment for the crime, not sufficient to be a crime.

What GW statue and where? Why would the feds be involved in vandalism. I don't recall any of these protests occurring on federal property.

Threatening the life of a Jew is not a joke. It is a serious hate crime. We had this same situation when Joe Biden advocated to stop the busing of black children to white schools. The president ordered in federal troops.

Are you that ignorant of history or do you knowingly make such mis-leading comparisons?

But the POTUS was supposed to have been pro civil rights well before this. He was also a friend of George Wallace.

In other matters, there doesn’t seem to be any emphasis on forcing Hamas to surrender. They need to be dismantled entirely or as much as possible.

Force us to guess?
(You’re agin it?)
I am just posting information in that the Iranian government, sponsor of Hamas, sees potential in the protestors as a proxy group for Hezbollah.

If no one minds me posting on the topic of the thread:

It could possibly explain why Biden is so weak in his response to the anti Semitism and racist attacks on campuses. He does not want to offend his major donors

Who better to advocate for the working man than a bunch of wealthy men?
That would be the mega donors to the Democratic Party - those top 1%'rs who pour hundreds of millions into Joe's campaign - oh and give to the Anti Semitic Racist organizations on college campuses.

Follow the money trail - it is why Joe has not been strong on the riots on campuses and now in cities. He will not bite the hand that feeds him.

Nothing says Main Street quite like "former hedge fund CEO" (McCormick in PA) or "bank owner/real estate mogul" (Hovde of WI).

Sure, there are rich people who donate to the Democratic Party. But Biden is pulling in a record-breaking number of small dollar donations from regular folks.

Biden continues fundraising momentum, with a $53 million February

But Biden clearly eclipsed Obama in another measure. While Obama reported nearly 350,000 donors in February of 2012, the Biden campaign claimed 469,000 unique donors at the same point in the current cycle.

Speaking of this administration...

US House passes controversial bill that expands definition of anti-Semitism

The United States House of Representatives has overwhelmingly passed a bill that would expand the federal definition of anti-Semitism, despite opposition from civil liberties groups.

The bill passed the House on Wednesday by a margin of 320 to 91, and it is largely seen as a reaction to the ongoing antiwar protests unfolding on US university campuses. It now goes to the Senate for consideration.

House passes bill aimed to combat antisemitism amid college unrest

The bill would establish a senior official in the Department of Education to monitor for antisemitism on college campuses and create a national coordinator in the White House to oversee a new interagency task force to counter antisemitism.

"We have negotiated that bill for nine months. It is bipartisan. It's bicameral," said North Carolina Democrat Kathy Manning, who co-chairs the House Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism.

------

Which proves it wasn't the result of the protests. The bill was passed on May 1st. Nine months from that date is August 1st. The war hadn't started and they were working on it beforehand.
