I wouldn't read too much into things, remember what Jesus said when His disciples asked "did this man or his parents sin that he was born blind?" Jesus said, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but it was so that the works of God might be displayed and illustrated in him." John 9:3

Sometimes we can't survive alone, please go to a church where they seek the power of God, it can make a huge difference, God promised to be where we reunite together, and send blessings and eternal life. We need to go to church, preferable if they seek being filled with the Holy spirit and his power, very important to go to a 'lively' church, where God moves. It can change your life.

You need to seek God, he has almost infinite patience with us, no way this is punishment, you just need spriitual help from Him. I know he likes to help people not punish them.

My life is not getting any better. Stuff is still going wrong, my cat has been diagnosed with kidney failure, and I keep having to take my cars to the wash to get urine odor off the tires, and I don't even know how the tires are getting that. I keep having unwanted and intrusive thoughts of the Devil pestering me to make bets and deals with him, to which I keep saying no. I keep asking God to banish him and all other evil spirits, to prevent them from doing anything to me or to anything I care about, to rid me of these unwanted intrusive thoughts, to keep my cars odorless, and to forgive me and not punish me all in the name of Jesus, but the torments continue. It's really taking a toll on me mentally and emotionally. I must have profoundly offended God at some point.

It seems like random events happen to some people, and some of these events are bad. Imagine this scenario. You flip a coin 10 times. One might expect to land on heads 50% of the time. However, one may land on heads 10 times in a row, or tails 10 times in a row. God lets random stuff happen, as our world is fallen. Nothing is on you sir. There could be another thing going on. A lot of good people, especially those who want to increase their faith have difficult times. This once again is not on you, but because of how the world works against those with a strong faith. But God will help you power through. It might be a good idea to talk to a pastor or priest about this. For your cat, all cats age and eventually pass away. My neighbor's cat passed away at age 18 in 2018, while my parent's cat passed away at age 19 on April 2021. Our dog passed away at age 11 on January 2021. Heck, my grandfather passed on Christmas 2021, and my manager's three year old grandson while I was an intern at her company passed away in March 2021, as she had on a memorial shirt for him. In other words, 2021 was a living hell. Even worse compared to 2020. Fast forward to 2023, and things are going somewhat well for my family and myself, but going bad for the world with these wars.

And for animals urinating on your car tires, you might want to speak with your boss at work, or whoever owns the parking lots to apply fencing or animal deterrents near the parking spaces or medians. And when at home, keep your favorite car inside the garage. But even then, some animals can smell pee once, even if it is cleaned off well and try to mark their territory. You can buy pet repellent tire shine, which can repel pets. For other animals, there isn't really a solution, though lemon oil could repel some critters.

Faithful people do go through times of trial and testing. It doesn't mean you have necessarily offended God. Keep praying and dismiss the intrusive thoughts. Things will get better. I am sorry about your cat.

Last night i got intense intrusive thoughts to kill myself and i would never do such a thing.

The world is in a tough place right now but that must mean Jesus is closer. Keep moving forward brother it will get better even if better means in Heaven.

And, my cat hasn't defecated in a long time even though she's been eating some of her food (fiber response food) and taking her medicine (Lactulose), which is a sign she's constipated again!

...I did talk to an assistant manager at work today, and she said she'll talk to the surveillance guy about checking the footage to see of anyone is urinating on my tires in the parking lot. I always park my car in the same spot where there's a camera nearby. I'm also going to try to buy some tire covers.

Tire covers would help a lot. Nah, your punishments are not escalating, it is just the world messing up, not anything you did. God loves you. If anything, maybe this could be an attack from the world, as you follow Jesus closely, but I am not a theologian. Talking to a priest or pastor would be the next step. Worst case, they could always perform a blessing on your car or something. For your cat, I don't know much about cats, but maybe a laxative could work, if prescribed by a veterinarian? Thanks for taking my advice on the tires though.

You're welcome brother. Everything will get better, even if it may seem like it is not. Plus, there are a lot of beautiful things that God has made that we can enjoy in this life, such as National or State Parks, the night sky, clouds, sunrises and sunsets and the melody of the birds. Focus on the positive, and things will go better for you. I do wish grocery stores and supermarkets had underground parking in the US, as that means no animals would get near your vehicle. In Europe, underground parking is more common, but only for large buildings, and most stores there are pretty tiny compared to the ones in my state (in the upper Midwestern USA). But, some people take the train to the store or bike there, so less need to worry about parking. To this day, it blows my mind how German or Dutch people can fit groceries on a bike, or commute to work so easily overseas. Cars are typically used for longer trips, longer commutes or when one shops a lot.

Also, for pests, it seems that there is a much lower, to nearly nonexistent population of skunks across the pond, as you told me there were skunks on one of the routes to the vet.

I used to enjoy life until recently. Now I live in constant fear, stress, anxiety, and depression. I pray to God to take it away and to restore my ability to enjoy life.
My parents and a lot of other loved ones have died, things in my life keep going wrong, and I feel obligated by God to give up a lot of things I enjoy doing.
I'm tired of it all. Now I keep hoping I'll die and go to Heaven soon even though I'm 39 years old.
I know suicide isn't the way to go. I'm afraid of what God might do to me if I did that, and there are friends and relatives who would be devastated.
My cat is my only reason to live. She's 17 and has special medical needs. I'm afraid that if I precede her in death, she might not get the care she needs. I just hope my time comes very soon after hers.
I accept Christ as my lord and savior, and hope I'm on the book of life.

You know, some people, when they are converted, are all for going speedily to Heaven. They would like to wear the crown without bearing the Cross. They desire to win without running and conquer without a battle. I can think of various reasons why being left on earth after being saved is a good thing. You know, the more we are battered and scarred on earth the more glorious will be our victory above when the shouts of a thousand times ten thousand angels welcome us to our Father’s palace. The more trials—the more bliss. The more sufferings—the more ecstasies. The more depression—the higher the exaltation. A tried saint brings more glory to God than an untried one. If there's one thing we'll regret when we get to heaven it'll be that we did not do more for the glory of God.

Multiple bereavements is enough to make anyone feel low. But if you are depressed and anxious on top of that; that's tough.

Jesus died for your sins.
If we do wrong, we confess and Jesus forgives us and makes us clean, 1 John 1:9. Forgiven sins are forgotten - as far as the east is from the west.
If God was going to punish us every time we messed up, Jesus would not have needed to go through all that agony.
He did that so that you could be reconciled to God.

Don't take this as expert advice, but I would suggest it is either your anxiety, or the devil - or a bit of both - which is making you believe that everything that goes wrong is a punishment.
And your depression is preventing you from thinking "where is God in this; what is he teaching me?"
