How do you argue that it's the Left who are anti-intellectual when intellectuals tend to lean left? Anti-intellectualism is a common feature of both fundamentalist religious sects and populist political movements. Populism may have homes on both the political right and the left, but fundamentalist religions are almost always conservative/right.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>No. No that is not what the humanities do. No halfway decent scientist would claim that the sciences describe all of what's real.
