Brother, I am with you in this. I am trying to permanently stop. I have taken every step I know possible, but if I forget to have my friend set my PIN for my phone security, I stumble late in the evening. It is a herculean task, but it is doable. I know people who have struggled and quit for good. I ask God for guidance and was clean for a year, but when I stumbled back into it, I started again and had to try pulling myself out again. It is like quicksand, I know. I realized though, that when I ask the Spirit for help in prayer, it works, so long as I am sincere. If your heart is truly in it when you ask the Spirit, it helps immensely. And, do not forget repentance and the same need for Christ as at your conversion.
