Has feminism made marriage and kids a liability

I'd say any peace that followed the most destructive, murderous war in living memory must be a good thing. What ideal is that? Avoiding gas chambers? Carpet-bombing? Nanking? The Burma Railway? Do women get screwed over during ____ more often than men? Sure, yeah. But that's not the fault of...

Why don't we interpret the Revelation literally?

If I may venture a suggestion... We can read all the other letters and books of the Bible in their context in history. We can't do that with Revelation because most of it hasn't happened yet.

Has feminism made marriage and kids a liability

The good news is that things are changing, at least in England.I can't speak for the USA. That's very bad advice as well as being problematic from a Christian point of view. Co-habiting couples are in very murky waters indeed when it comes to a messy break-up with little or no legal recourse...

Has feminism made marriage and kids a liability

Sorry. You said: Because you said "my kids" rather than "our/the kids" and "my husband" rather than "their dad". As I said, wrong end of stick I'm afraid.

Has feminism made marriage and kids a liability

Edit: Sorry Hetta, In my previous post I assumed that your kids were both yours and his. My apologies - sorry. Of course you shouldn't hand over your kids to a non-related man who is your husband (or soon-to-be-ex), unless he's bonded and has some role.

Has feminism made marriage and kids a liability

They aren't your property. Is your husband the dad? I think you answered the original question. As you can see, a lot of young men think like you do and have come to the conclusion to eschew marriage for the reasons you pointed out.
