    Christians & War

I'm same as you. Raised in a Baptist Republican house and got a little deeper into politics and realized i was a libertarian. And is war wrong? Well murder is wrong, and there is a lot of that in war. If it's defensive, we have people invading our borders attacking and we're fighting back, fine...

    Age and Political Ideology

I read an article on this some time ago and it goes really in depth into the subject, it's a great read. Here's the link. So would the democrats of 50 years ago. Paints a picture doesn't it?

Do Politics and Anger go together?

I used to be that way. I used to be a republican, and i knew nothing about politics but what my parents taught me. Back then I would freak out or get mad when people I knew disagreed. The more you learn the more you don't care and rather see it as an opportunity to talk about politics and teach...

    Fox News is terrible

The news outlets are controlled by either the GOP or the Democrats. Either side is worthless propaganda. However, i have enjoyed the small segments on fox news with Judge Napolitano.

Would you vote for Palin in 2012?

*Applause* coudln't have said it better myself. I would never vote for a candidate from the two headed monster that is the two party system, with a special exception for Ron Paul considering he's totally hijacking the republican party. His son being the head of the tea party makes me lose hope...

    How has Sarah Palin failed?

One way Sarah Palin has hurt what little respect i had for her was when she said Julian Assange should be "hunted down like Osama Bin Ladin" (And ... we havn't caught Osama Bin Ladin ironically?) Shes such a tool.

Democrats lost the war in Vietnam

Seriously? Our involvement in Vietnam was nothing short of genocide. It's not our job to tell them how they should run their government, and it's especially not our job to tell them how to run their government if it's going to cost any lives on either side. The founding fathers warned against...

    Cite the Constitution? How Bizarre!

Republicans frequently cite such obvious misinterpretations of the constitution as the commerce clause, ect. It kind of defeats the purpose, so i doubt it'll make a difference.

    Wild Spending Continues

Actually, this "compromise" is only maintaining current taxes (not lowering), so we're not cutting taxes we're just keeping the status quo. What i meant by "not raising taxes" (which seems to be the republicans end of the compromise) was it isn't accomplishing anything and neither is spending more.

    Wild Spending Continues

The republicans seem to be supporting Obama extending the bush tax cuts while, at the same time, seem to be ignoring the ridiculous amount of spending that's being packed into the bill on the side. So by not raising taxes and spending more we're lowering the deficit? This is just the worst of...

Why must the hard left oppose patriotism?

Well, i hate our government right now. So you could say i hate America : d. Being a patriot isn't really about what we are now or what we've been in the past but what our founders and the ideals of this country stood, fought, and died for; Freedom. Being patriotic in America is to have a...

    Conservative with a small "c"

Firstly, KIYX, i love your signature. Second.. blah. Conservatives : d I think the constitution party is the small "c", and the republican party is the big "C". Same ideologies, only one actually intends to go through with what they say.

"No Labels" - Left's Answer to the Tea Party

Politics are more complicated than "Can't we all just get along?? for the country???"... There's no such thing as compromise in politics, only corruption. Selling out your political ideals for compromise is something of Statists. People who want more government, many want a lot more of it but...
