Is it normal when beginning to wean that one breast tends to fill up with milk faster and more often than the other? What Linnis said. It's also really important for them to be able to check the baby's heartbeat and make sure everything sounds okay so they can know that there's just one baby, no heart murmur, or other defects.

When I went, they just checked the baby's heartbeat at every visit and made sure I wasn't gaining weight too fast. Your first prenatal appointment, they will also do blood tests and probably a pelvic exam to check for possible STDs.

I think spanking a teenager falls under sexual harrassment/abuse. Once a child hits puberty, they are too old to be spanked.

12? Wow! I didn't know a doctor would do so many...huh. I've always been cautious with mine, too. I got three with my first child and three or four with my second. I think a lot of people request more because they are so excited about being parents and seeing their baby

We use Netflix because it's $15 a month, which is cheaper than cable here and we can moniter what our kids watch. Plus, this way they only watch a couple of movies a week as opposed to lots of TV every day. I want my kids to read and play outside, not be glued to the tellie.
