The video was taken Saturday night at Columbia University, less than 24 hours ago, of woman below holding a sign pointing to the Jewish students and their friends who were holding Israeli and American flags and singing songs religious. It was their attempt at a small counter protest on campus, not that they have any numbers.

columbia-university-protester-calls-on-al-qasam-hamas-to-v0-NWQwMmxjaHJpcnZjMeEE2vgnCeX7FuDQ7...jpeg

The sign says

Al-Qasam's next targets

For those who don't know Al-Qasam brigade is the military portion of Hamas who operates in Gaza and the West Bank.

So here we have someone on a university campus in America making a specific terrorist threat. Openly and without any fear.

as for the Jewish students the whole group was attacked and run off in the end by the openly professing terrorists who are operating freely on Columbia's campus.

The local Rabbi associated with the students has now told all the Jewish students to leave campus and go to their homes and stay at home until the situation on campus has changed because neither the school nor the police are providing for the safety of the Jewish students.

I'll quote here from FOX news:

In a WhatsApp message sent to hundreds before the start of Passover, Rabbi Elie Buechler, director of OU-LJIC at Columbia/Barnard, told students to leave "as soon as possible" until the situation improves, noting that "what we are witnessing in and around campus is terrible and tragic."

"The events of the last few days, especially last night, have made it clear that Columbia University’s Public Safety and the NYPD cannot guarantee Jewish students’ safety in the face of extreme antisemitism and anarchy," Buechler wrote. "It deeply pains me to say that I would strongly recommend you return home as soon as possible and remain home until the reality in and around campus has dramatically improved.

The rabbi added: "It is not our job as Jews to ensure our own safety on campus. No one should have to endure this level of hatred, let alone at school."

Plus this begins Passover. The FBI is on heightened alert and is supposedly watching every Jewish Center in America in the hopes of keeping them safe from terroristic attacks.

(If Biden even really cares to since Hamas appears as his new voting block the Democratic party is currently appeasing)

Politico also recently published an article detailing an anti semitic sentiment at levels never seen in the history of the school.

What are we doing here? Why are we allowing this?

They are turning students into anarchists and terrorists and Marxist's at these American Universities.

University professors who are pushing this anti American and anti Jewish sentiment needs to be fired immediately and deported if they are not American citizens, as well as the university leadership who turns a blind eye.

We also need to end all Qatari funding of American Universities, it should be illegal for Iran's proxies to be funding universities in order to create good little American terrorists on American soil.

We need to be putting a stop to this and not simply saying oh that's fine. It's not fine and it will never be fine.

This is not American.

Absolutely appalling.
I don't know why the school is allowing this.
Peaceful protests OK, but this is a terrorist threat.
“Allowing” is lifting a heavy load here.
Should the university pre-screen all protesters?
Ban homemade cardboard signage?
Only sell markers to pre-approved “protestors”?

EDIT: Does the OP have a link for the screenshot of the video, or a link to the video itself? Thanks.

I see what you are saying, but students have a right to attend school without being in danger, as well.
Threats and physical violence should be dealt with, peaceful protests are another issue,

Seeing as Al-Qasam is busy “elsewhere”, the threat is obviously rhetorical.

Did anyone ask the protestor what that sign actually meant? The text says it's "calling" for the killing of the students, but that's leaning into a lot of bias. The sign could very well be a warning that what the students are doing could draw attacks on themselves. Point being without actually asking what the sign actually means it could go either way. It's certainly provocative and no doubt that was the protestor's intent.

Comments like this certainly don't help. Hamas and The Palistinians are not the same. Democrats and Hamas are not the same. You know this, but you choose say this anyway. No doubt you're trying to be intentionally provocative as well.

I can't link on CF according to CF rules about swearing.

It says we can link to news articles that contains video but not to the video if there's cussing.

Basically, no protest and other such videos unless they come directly from news (like Fox) as well as no linking to non news sources where cussing occurs.

I don't think Fox or anyone else has this published online yet with the source video... I've not seen it yet, not with this girl making the terrorist threat.

The video is on Twitter, where most of these protest videos are being uploaded.

As far as what she's saying - That is perfectly clear on the cardboard. We don't need it interpreted - it's an actual and specific terrorist threat, period.

And it's from Hamas. She's just holding the sign. What we need to know is who was sitting there telling her to make the sign just like that on an American college campus in front of the Jewish counter protesters.

These kids are being radicalized.

And yet you’ve chosen to make it the focus of your thread, okay I’ll search it out where I will hear the bad words.

As our friend @The IbanezerScrooge pointed out, they may have been saying that the pro-Israeli students have put themselves at risk from Al-Qasam by being out-and-about (also protesting), not necessarily that they hope they are the “next targets”.

And it's from Hamas. She's just holding the sign.
Hamas made a cardboard sign with marker and shipped it to its “operative” at Columbia University?

Okay, I found the video.
Some in the crowd were talking to the young woman, who says at one point, “I am a Zionist”, (though we cannot be certain since the video was pointed away from the cardboard bearer at the time).

What’s your take?

That was what I gathered though the camera was pointed at the small “crowd” around her. Someone was speaking to a man in a black-ish windbreaker and said, “I am a Zionist”.

Saying stupid things in public is America’s whole schtick, though, so I do not understand what the “controversy” is, except that she appears to have been with the people (at least in spirit), who were waving the Israeli flags.

I don't believe it was the women with the sign who said that... It was someone else.

As far as "saying stupid things in public" being normal there's a real difference here.

These children are playing games with very real terrorists.

I am disabled for the rest of my life, I have been in rooms with the Brotherhood here in America (Hamas is part of the Muslim Brotherhood that's also here in the US, Hamas was called - or called themselves - the *military wing of the Muslim Brotherhood when they first joined the brotherhood)

I have been in rooms with people that are so palpably evil that their very presence would make your blood curdle.

These groups are here, and clearly they are radicalizing our children on college campuses, it can't even be brushed under the rug it's gotten so bad, and everyone is turning this blind eye as if making terrorist threats should be considered normal.

Terrorist threats should always be investigated, and we should always treat them accordingly.

These aren't games these kids are playing at, because the people they are playing with are deadly serious.

The people they are playing with behead babies and burn them in ovens without a second thought, and without conscience.

I would reiterate what I said in the OP. People are free to disagree with policies, but if you're here on a student visa sorry, spreading terrorist, Marxist and other propaganda isn't allowed here. Time to go. I don't care.

Then, it's time to start teaching these kids, and stop this whole radicalization thing that's going on.

Do you really think thousands of budding young terrorists is good for American society? What happens when one of them is in charge of your electricity and they decide to "protest"?

Do you think New York wants a black out because someone is having a fit? Stopping traffic for hours has already nearly killed people trying to get to a hospital...

We've passed anything resembling normal protest some time ago. Even left wing rags agree with that. It's time to rein it back in..

Okay, I found the video.

Thanks for that. I couldn't manage to find anywhere that didn't include cussing... And after talking to mods I am trying to be careful.

Fox has it now online so I've added a video to the OP now.

Here's a spot of good news, Yale is now cleaning house since the assault of a Jewish student on their campus yesterday. They also have an interview with 2 of the kids from the protest I highlighted in the OP.

One of the organizations behind the occupation at Columbia University is Jewish Voice for Peace, and hundreds of the protesters on the campus are Jews. This protest and others you see across the United States are not anti-Jewish; they are pro-Palestinian, anti-Zionist. There's a difference.

This is such a thing that is completely lost. There are PLENTY of Jewish people who are quite vehemently against the treatment of Palestinians right now.

Where is the outrage regarding the verbal attacks against the black community because they wouldn't comment on the war? They weren't backing Israel or condemning Palestine and more than a few were upset. They felt they were owed. And there's that video alleging the greatest threat to Jews are young blacks in America. I think that one came from AIPAC or a similar group during a visit last year.

Statement on Columbia University’s discriminatory and repressive treatment of Jewish students

Columbia University has actively created a hostile environment for students who are Palestinian or who support Palestinian freedom. Additionally, the administration’s actions have made the campus much less safe for Jewish students.

We condemn any and all hateful or violent comments targeting Jewish students; however, in shutting down public protest and suspending students, the actions of the University of Columbia are not ensuring safety for Jewish students — or any students — on campus.

Instead of listening to the calls of Columbia and Barnard students to divest from the genocide perpetrated by the Israeli government, the university has called in the NYPD to arrest students, suspend them and even expel them. At present 85 students, 15 of whom are Jewish, are suspended.

Yesterday’s statement by the White House, like the administrators of Columbia University, dangerously and inaccurately presumes that all Jewish students support the Israeli government’s genocide of Palestinians. This assumption is actively harming Palestinian and Jewish students.
