Today is another of those rather grey days but not as much breeze [ famous last words !] as there has been recently

Seems to have been a very busy day yesterday - but I'm not sure why/how. Washing machine working away peacefully & I'm now caffeinating

Yesterday was just one of those days - started off quietly busy with doing laundry etc and the weather wasn't great but we coped, but gradually it got more and more damp

I had arranged for my taxi to collect me at 5.30pm for our Service and by that time it was really wet - and it stayed that way till I was dropped off later that evening after we had been chatting [ the members of our Community ] over Soup , by a good friend. By that time I was heading for bed .

I have really no idea why the day went that way - but it did.

I've some plans for today - but what will happen ? who knows

OH WONDERFUL

More rain and also some wind and to add to my total glee it seems a roof has collapsed on an abandoned building and now the road there is closed and .....................wouldn't you guess - It's on my route to Church !!!

Thankfully I can wait for 24 hours before I really crack up

This is , of course, @S.ilvio 's favourite day of the week and guess what ........
yup - it's been wet all night and it's still wet and as far as I can see will be so, ALL blooming day.
Forecast is really not nice - some areas are due high winds and possibly some of " that white stuff" as well
Ah well - laundry is done and now on the racks for drying [ this means that though it was a small load I do not have to rush round tomorrow or Sunday getting it done and drying before heading to Church .

Hmm - not only wet but it's cold as well and I gather that there are some flooded roads in the local area .

Oh I AM looking forward to some decent weather. Hmm - I really do hope I can get to Liturgy this weekend - though I suspect that thanks to the forecast - I'll have to decide at the last minute.

A rather damp [ at times ] and VERY windy day yesterday .

I really thought that the fence between my house and the house next door would be blown down at times ! and of course the wind continued all night . Actually woke me several times !!

Today it seems to have improved a bit - yes the sky is grey but we have had some sun today and the wind continues. Not been able to leave the house since Friday now and wasn't able to get to Church as I do have to cross our River via a rather high Bridge !

Oh - this weather is proving to be a problem for many areas as @S.ilvio has found - but thankfully no power outages , as far as I know, round my area though I would not be at all surprised at some in the Highlands

Once more we are getting this most unseasonable weather - yes we can always expect some wet weather this month [ April Showers ] but this year has had some exceptionally severe weather problems - floods gales etc.
Oh I will be soooooooooo glad when this is all passed.

We have a Service this evening and I'm determined to be there so have booked a taxi to get me there

That has NOT been a good day

Morning was OK so taxi taxi was booked to take me to Church tonight

Taxi was only over 30 mins late and still not arrived [ this firm is usually excellent ] and of course the weather is now appalling again , rain in torrents , puddles you can wade though etc . so I cancelled the taxi and will go and watch the Service on Zoom , with all the others that can't get there in person tonight

It's a bit cloudy this morning but the sun is doing it's best to break through that , and we also have a slight breeze.

It's a good job that this is now Friday - it's been another of "THOSE" days

Hopefully tomorrow won't be as bad and I will be heading over to Church for our Service so I hope the rain will be better - and not the torrential type we have had these last few days and we will have less wind.

Well - just back from our Service - and though it was dry when I left this morning , and also as I started back home from the Service - 25 mins later it's now back to very wet and windy .

Oh am I glad I got home in time to avoid the nasty stuff

Oh - life is going to be such fun over the next few days till I have my new Internet provider connection sorted out
I'll be off to Church in about an hour for our Service this morning and hopefully the weather will be kind to us all today
