This Sunday the preacher spoke on grace and sin.
Everyone needs Jesus Christ to be saved!
All are born in sin and shapen in iniquity. ( Psalms 51:5 )
--Inherited from Adam, we all are born sinners fresh out of the womb in need of a Savior before we even commit any act of sin. (Romans 5:19)
When anyone
1.) Repents (turn from all sin/forsake sin/change our sinful ways/are truly ready to stop living in sin and darkness) and....
2.) Believes on Jesus Christ as the scriptures hath said
( Mark 1:14-15 ) , ( Mark 6:12 ) , ( Acts 17:30 ) , ( Acts 11:18 )
( John 7:38-39 ) ,
Then GOD will fill that person with His Holy Spirit adopting us as a child of GOD, and washes us in the blood of Jesus Christ, forgiving us of the sins that are passed. (Romans 3:23-25) (Romans 8:15) ( Titus 3:5 )
GOD is love
. His grace is so good, but it is not a reason to continue in sin.
Those that are Christs are supposed to be dead to sin, having all sin destroyed by the power of the Holy Ghost. (Romans 8:13) (Galatians 5:24).
Main supporting texts: ( Romans 6:1-2 ) ( Romans 6:15 )
We will all stand before the judgement seat of Christ. ( 2 Corinthians 5:10-11 ). GOD has given us the power to stop sinning (our old man crucified and buried with Christ) by the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus. Now what have we done with this power? (Romans 8:13) (Acts 1:8)
So if you have sin in your life.... repent, and ask GOD to wash you in the blood of Jesus Christ and come back to your loving Father, and live holy and delight in a relationship with GOD!
The devil is a liar,
GODs love is better than sin. A relationship with the Father, and the Son and the Holy Ghost is so deep and fulfilling. This is what the world is missing, (but looking to the world to find the peace, and joy, and love), and many end in overdosing in drugs after having found out that all the money and "stuff" did not fill that search for peace, rest, contentment, and true joy and hope.
Putting down the sins in your life to truly yield yourself to Christ Jesus is so good! His loving kindness is better than life and worth letting go of sin or anything you put before Him!
And only by the Power of the Holy Spirit was I able to break free from the power of sin working in my flesh. Not just the deeds, but the power of Sin (the desire to commit the acts). I am not perfect, but by the Spirit of GOD I am striving to become more and more like Christ!
Continue reading GODs word and spending sweet time with Him in prayer and just let GOD comfort you always in all things. Continue sowing(feeding) the Spirit and not the flesh. (Galatians 6:8)
