A Chinese businessman meet’s an Aussie in a board room, to close an important Free Trade deal. The Aussie when referring to the business deal soon to be closed comments:

“What’s at stake?”

The Chinese man not sure how to reply, leaves the room for the cafeteria, to look for the meat tray.

“She’ll be right, we can chat latter”, Replies the Aussie, wondering why he is leaving. The Chinese gentlemen, takes the right hall way, even though the cafeteria is to the left.

15 minutes later after eventually finding the cafeteria the Chinese man returns having seen peas beside the meat tray and say “Pea”

The Aussie thinking he has been to the toilet, replies, “Oh I understand, we all have to go”.

The Chinese man again leaves the room, catches a taxi, the meeting ends with the Aussie and Chinese man perplexed about the behaviour of their fellow.

Aussie Slang

What’s at stake? = what are the risks

She’ll be right = all ok, all is good

Pee = to go to the toilet

We all have to go = We all have to visit the toilet
