Beverly Cleary, 100 years old today!

This is just a little tribute thread to legendary children's author, Beverly Cleary, born on April 12, 1916, and is 100 years old today! I remember her books with fondness; they were among some of my favorites and could hardly put them down once I started reading them, especially the Ramona series.

Not a thing wrong with that. I'd like to do that sometime, myself. After all, a well-written children's book is one an adult can also enjoy, and Beverly's books definitely are among them. The stories are ones anyone can relate to. Honestly, today's kids need to be exposed to her books. To me, they are classics!
