And a cast of thousands...to play in flashback civil war re-enactments. Scarlett has this business idea that soon takes off to get yankees and confederates both on her side and making Tara rich. She goes on a curtain drive to make costumes for it. But she cant do it without Belle Watlings help.

I don't read comics, so would have no idea what you talking about. Besides, christians do not steal. If anybody wants to make the movies I dreamed up, feel free.

Its not like I have a monopoly on the characters and hanging out for my name to be credited with it. It would be just cool to see the movie made.

I once proofread this novel for a guy and he asked me to sign like this confidentiality agreement so I can't even tell you what it was a bout lest anyone 'steal' his novel, but since it was a looong novel I don't think anybody would be 'stealing it'.
I couldn't write anything like it anyway. Its not so much the idea, because heaps of people have similar ideas and plots eg. provincial protagonist goes on a journey into the city, has adventures, survives violent attacks etc. It's not like it hasn't been done before...but its the way you write it and flesh out the character that is the hallmark of good writing.

I was thinking francine rivers novels would make good christian movies, i dont know if redeeming love could be made into a film, it would be great costume drama.

But my favourite francine rivers is one less popular called And the Shofar Blew. Its about a christian woman who marries an up and coming pastor and who takes over his dads church. But, like elmer gantry he isnt fully converted...hes not born again. His wife fails to notice as he does all the churchy things and the church is growing and everything seems fine, they have a family, she gets involced with church productions. Her hsubnd The pastor then starts to expand the church and subtly bit by bit doctrine starts being compromised when wealthy patrons are invited to the church. Becuase of their wealth they can pay for new buildings with their tithes but the old timers start noticing the sermons less bible based and more on other things. They even get rid of the king james bible that once was center place in the sanctuary, and bring in flashy theatricals in the worship team.

Then as predictable as ever, her husband starts counselling the new members and falls into sin. She is the last to know...she meets another guy actually one of the workmen helping build the new church building who has such a vibrant faith that is so different from her own that she wonders what she could have been missing all these years.

If it all sounds a bit like the pupose driven church movement, then you would be right, but ms River wrote her novel before that even became a visible thing. Ie. She didnt have one particular pastor in mind. But if you were to make a movie of the purpose driven church and how one pastor decided that he wasnt earning enough being a pastor and scoped out a wealthy suburb to be pastor of, convert the rich heathens, and ends up wealthy beyond his dreams but then something happens that shows the mercenary condition of his heart and lack of genuine faith when he meets poor persecuted christians in other nations.

Well this thread is more for movie ideas than tv series but I suppose I could make an allowance...

So why not share your idea? I dont get it. I thought the point of movies being made was so lots of people can enjoy it. Movie making is a collaboration. Is it not?

Its not likely i will ever be a director but that doesnt stop me from thinking of movie ideas and sharing them. Its just a pitch, im not asking for a screenplay or storyboard. Just a sypnosis.

Ideas for a new animated Disney Musical.
Either Joseph and the amazing technicolour dreamcoat or...Book of Esther, musical version.

Queen Esther would appeal to young girls who like Cinderella stories and Mulan.

Also, esther will have a dancing scroll. Well its a disney movie, she's allowed.
And in her beauty pageant, all the other disney princesses will star vying for King xerxes hand.

Jasmine, Rose, ariel, pocohontas, mulan, snow white, aurora...

Queen esther will be voiced by madonna. The jewish people are outraged. She has as much credibilty with them as she did with the argentinians when she played eva peron. But Disney pixar want bankable stars and can be easily swayed by her kabbalah scarlet cords.

Moredecai her uncle is voiced by Robert de Niro.
And evil Haman is voiced by arnold schwarznegger.
King xerxes is of course Kevin Sorbo.

I have another idea dor a movie that would parody the notebook, but instead of using the notebook, it would be on facebook.

Noah and his love are torn apart by the tyranny of long distance. So they go on facebook to find each other. They have lots of fights and arguments over who has the best cat pictures. Then they make up. Then she gets a terrible atrophying disease from spending too much time in front of the computer. So he has to actually come over and see her IN PERSON.

You wouldnt believe all the difficulties he has in facing running from one end of the idyllic countryside to the other to rescue his lady love because of the horrors of wifi radiation.
