Who do you miss?

I'm not up on all the computer lingo. What does "QV please" mean? You seem to be the only one around here who uses that phrase on a regular basis, so I figured I'd ask you. Thanks.

Isn't he though? I have a friend that works at a bird rescue and recovery center. She's always forwarding me fanciful bird gifs she finds about. They don't image the birds at the sanctuary out of respect for their privacy being they're recovery /injured birds. But they do get a lot of owls in house. I adore owls.

I miss Sphinx777, he was a character. Like a gazillion posts a day and never once said anything in his own words, just green cut and pastes from Wiki. Somebody would type a 10,000 word post about something serious, and happen to use a common word like "room" somewhere in it, and he'd reply with a Wiki entry explaining what a room is.

i forget what his handle was but there was a conservative ex police officer who used to post in politics that I have a lot of respect for. I hope he is doing OK. He had problems with PTSD and decided the board was not good for him.

I don't have an owl. That image was a animated gif that was forwarded to me by a friend at a bird sanctuary who knows I adore owls.
That owl pictured in my former avatar was a northern pygmy owl. They get about 6-18 centimeters tall and weight less than 3 pounds. What's really unique in my mind about them is that they hunt during the day.
