Facebook anyone?

I had to close my facebook account because it had become a political battleground. Sooo.. I started a new one with just 2 of my children and a couple of friends. There are tumbleweeds rolling down the empty streets there

(no activity)
If any one that is NON political Christian wants to add me as a friend, please feel free to do so. I love reading happy posts and general information.. I just do not want to get into the political fights again

I have tried (and failed) to stay out of political forums here lol

As you all know,
I disabled my facebook account, some time ago and began a website (outside)
via which, to maintain contact, with the many friends that I have made here
Unfortunately, not very many friends made it there, to sign-in and so, I was then
left to find another way....
This Secret Group which I understand is unsearchable by non-members
is a place where I can meet up with my friends and family, and not have-to
DELETE and BLOCK tons of filth (inappropriate content and bad posts) from my pages.... EVERY DAY
I do so hope that you will appreciate my efforts
It isn't what I want my granddaughters to have to view, when they see "Granddad's Page"

I have my facebook so restricted that only friends can see it and even they cant see who my friends are or where I live etc.
Been on it for years and have never seen any inappropriate content or anything bad. Maybe you had yours set to 'public'?

You must mean my 'profile' and some older posts
Yes, I am afraid that the filth was added by friends of friends
I am sure my friends are being, so much-more careful

My 'home page' is allowing friends to view some photos I am adding
but I am really only visiting my Secret-Group

I have an android phone. I don't see s Facebook app. Is Facebook free? I'm not up on these things. Don't they want ur phone number and personal info?

Facebook is free and you don't have to give a phone number. Sometimes when I log in, I get a message that says "hey, do you want to make your Facebook more safe? Add your phone number here!" or words to that effect. I just click it away. You only have give an email address and name.

they (Facebook) will send a six figure number to your phone, to confirm your identity

Just how 'safe' is your firewall ?

Does your firewall IGNORE calls from unknown IP's
or, does it chat like a washer-woman over the garden fence ? [verbosely]

Do you leave your doors 'OPEN' or, do you visit the internet ONE-WAY ? [your way]

Does your system 'look for' orphaned files, and contain-them ?
whenever, they contain urls (addresses)

Is your system set up to SAVE encrypted files ~that cannot be read without 'running-them' ?

I gave up on Facebook because of the excessive use of a very offensive word, and because of strange guys wanting to be my "friend". One guy kept sending me offensive sexually explicit photos, and I told him not o write to me again.
